Good News for all those teams who missed the first registration. We have room for 12 more teams!

First, we`re going to allocate 4 slots for a one hour early registration beginning Monday 2/16 at 2:00 PM. Any previous team from the FCFFL Spring League can register during this hour.

At 3:00 PM, any of the 4 remaining early slots + the other 8 will open to general registration, first-come, first-served. Be ready to pay online quickly at 3:00 PM. I got about 12 emails from folks who tried to register only 4 minutes after the first general registration opened only to see 0 slots.

Once the league is filled Monday, I can work out the schedule and divisions - will post both probably by Wednesday 2/18.

How are the divisions going to be broken up? It seems like there are a lot of A/B+ caliber teams registered...

Is that Diesel`s fall squad from weekends? If so, they should be in A

almost seems to me there needs to either be a B+ or a C division added. Obviously all the teams that have previously been in A should be there, along with B+ standouts (Blazers, Rejects). Even really good B teams from fall (Signal, Novacaine) could compete in A, not to mention the great weekend teams that joined. Some B teams should either be demoted to a C division or the lower eschelon A teams should go to a B+.

how bout an A and open type thing? with A, B+, B playoffs. Bottom C teams don`t get a post season?

Hmm From my understanding spring has always been broken up in A and OPEN divisions. No need to chop it up anymore with B+, B, and C. Open means Open, lets just play some football.

Divisions/Levels:

"There are 2 levels of play for the weeknight Spring League: A & B.

"A" will be for teams who normally compete in the "A" level and the final four from B last Spring, B+ last Fall + any other B+ or B teams who wish to move up, plus any new teams who wish to start out in A.

"B" is for last years NON-final four B teams, and any other B teams who wish to move up to B, or certain bottom A teams who wish to drop."

Signal a lot of old palyers so they should be in B

except for the fact the could crush anyone in that B division right now. Their QB is sick, sick receivers, and sick D. Old? Maybe their coach/captain. Other than that this squad is legit. Oh and I don`t play for Signal.

just gonna jump right on in here.... signal is VERY goood but they did loose to novacaine last year to get in the finals... so i say signal should be in a, and also think novacaine should as well there defense is nice

with yepo. Both should be promoted to the A league. I mean some of the teams in the B league this Spring were in C last year.

just cuz it`s always been A/B doesn`t mean we can`t try out a B+? A lot of the B teams were C from last year, or some new teams, and there`s a lot of legit B+ caliber teams that could make for an exciting B+ season if we don`t throw the previous B teams to the wolves in A.

I dont see any point in dividing the divisions anymore than A and Open. OPEN is a mix of B/C teams. All teams registered to be in the OPEN should have known this anyway. So i dont see why ppl are complaining. Lets just play.

agreed no complaining, i agree w "stated once" those two teams will get crushed up here so leave them in b to make a more competitive.

I agree that the a league would blow out alot or most teams in b but signal and novacaine and even banditos could compete in the a league... to be serious all the people in the a league take it serious because they couldnt get into college football or already washed up ya fell or dig me? lets be real im in the reston league now but i was in the fall b league

HAHAHAH THATS RIGHT, A Teams-- don`t talk **** because youre an A team. Everyone who is playing in this league failed to an extent at the sport of football. If you aren`t playing in the NFL, I wouldn`t be tooting your own horn. Just because you can find a bunch of good athletes to compete once a week doesn`t make you high and mighty.

Your right to some extent about us all failing, so if you play in B does that mean you failed more miserably then people in A? And if you play C does that mean you failed that much more? Just wondering if that is the scale that we use for measuring why people play in A, B, or C? I play for fun, yes I`m competitive and I talk a little smack; I def want to win; but all and all, just play to get out the house, try and stay in shape, and chill with some crazy funny dudes. I`m a basketball player never played football so I play now and I`m pretty decent. Just find it kinda funny how everyone acts on here because NO ONE; A,B, to whatever league getting a check!
