Hey there gents! Here are some of the rumors floating around before the 2009 Spring season kicks off!
1.)Triple Crown may be stripped of their A league championship and 3rd place finish in states because of illegally using players from the Banditos. Some believe this has been pointed out before on the messageboard, only for the thread to be deleted by the TC coach.
2.)Spalding, as a team, will announce their retirement before the start of the season.
3.)"Overhyped Bum" has been using performance enhancing drugs ever since the sharks recruited him from his basketball career, thus turning him into an elite trash talker on the messageboard.
4.)Kryptonite`s #1 WR is in a hold-out, demanding a trade to Novacaine to be with more people of his own race. Some believe it is because he is truly Cylindrical Boy and wants to be paired with his long lost 3-D shaped brother, Cube Boy.
5.) Signal fired their head coach because they realized that it`s incredibly lame to have a head coach in flag football.
6.) Frontline decided to move to the COED weekend league because most of them realized that they play more like women rather than men.
7.)The Wolverines bribed Tom with thousands of dollars to join the B+ league, so they can tell themselves they are a good team (they`re not).
8.) Novacaine has been crying ever since they found out they were not accepted into the A League. Signal was there to consol them.
9.) GSS Blazers Chaos (or whatever the hell their name is) has accepted they are all losers because the run warm-up laps together, bring it in for team cheers, and take flag football WAY to seriously--only to lose to the Rejects (who were cool as a fan) in the championship game.
10.)Despite not playing in the Spring (they were told the level of competition was far beyond what they were capable of), Smashmouth will be back this Fall to call everyone out, try to fight them, and claim that they will one day win something. These claims, are completely false.
