Book it: Novacaines gets their first win, a convincing one, against a clearly suffering PKL team after last weeks no-show versus the Magnums. Signal will be the first team to manage to score against Triple Crown, but will get beat down as a result. Rejects pass rush is too much for the Union. Kryptonites lose a heartbreaker to a more experienced Blazers unit.

At the risk of starting trash talk , would you mind giving your input for the B and C leagues ? Some of us do find it entertaining before the jerks of the message board get involved.

I tried. These are some far-fetched guesses, haven`t seen half these teams play. Hurricanes seem to be legit. Putting 35 up on anyone is good, and they put it up against the Sandbaggers who`ve been around for a while. Good luck with B/C.

they barely beat storm and then beat an overrated novacaines team. I cant get excited about their DEFENSE until they shut down BB,TC,or sharks

Should be interesting....Sharks only beat Novacaines by 1 and Mags beat them by 28. However, Sharks seem to have the Magnum`s #. Could this be the year they turn the tide.....mmmmmmm......dont think so. But a good game anyway.

they`re 0-4 against the sharks. Don`t think that`s gonna change anytime soon. It`ll be a close, tough game for sure. Sharks, Magnums, Novas easily take the top 3 for this division. For the fourth and last A playoff spot, I wouldn`t be surprised to see the Hokies to sneak in.

Magnums have a much better defense than the Sharks, but the Sharks def have a better offense. However, at this point in time I think that the Magnums would win a close one, something in the range of 21-17.

Not much we can say since we are 0-4 vs. the Sharks. They are a very strong team and we look forward to another battle with them.

they will get crushed by those teams. they probably will lose to NOVAs this week. I`m just saying its a weak division overall. PKL is suffering from the loss of their QB, Diesel is not very good, and Novacaines has not been performing. Who else would take that last spot? Storm has started off slow against the tough teams, so if they can pick it up, they`ll probably outgain the Hokies. If they do sneak into the playoffs, it`d be 1W vs 4E, so they`ll most likely be 1 and done against triple crown.

I agree whoever has that spot will prob be one and done against TC. I wouldnt say Novacaine hasnt been performing, they almost beat the Sharks. Certainly didnt show up for the Magnums game tho, so theres a consistency issue there. Hokies look good, PKLs defense is good so if their O gets it together they could still make some noise.

triple crown is going to be the #1 seed. They can lose just like any other team in this league. They are not invincible, they are good no doubt, but not unbeatable.

I saw Hokies play last week. Probably the most deceptive team in the league. It looks like a surefire win for whoever is playing them, but they are very quick and have very good ball skills. They will certainly be tough to beat. Their main weakness will be going against bigger, stronger Offensive and D-lines.

deceptive in the fact that they are much quicker and more athlectic than you would think they would be. I was impressed to say the least.

they havent even had a dose of a real team like Sharks, Magnums, or CCr novas. It`s going to be a rude awakening for all you teams out there that think your ish dont stink.

no one`s saying they`re on the level of those teams. we`re just saying they have a very real shot of sneaking into A playoffs (do they belong? sucks that the other division has some solid teams clawing at each other.) because of the level of play drops off a lot after those three teams.

I think the Sharks, Magnums, and Novas are all very beatable teams. Are they the 3 best teams in the division? No doubt. But if these other teams come ready to play, and get organized, its definitely possible.

This Kryptonites dude went off, 3 picks in the first half. Krypts held Blazers to 3 and out, drove down the field and banged home a game winner from about 15-20 yards out.

Can anyone provide a rundown of the TC and Signal game?

it wasn`t pretty to watch. tc got lucky with a batted ball and scored on a long td on their first drive. signal had a few decent plays, but never really got going. they got just inside the tc 20 at the end of the game, but didn`t get any closer than that. tc had one long solid drive for a td, also in the first half.

same story for signal in the second half. tc didn`t score either. both teams had mistakes here and there that caused drives to stall. final score was 13-0.

Nicely put, signal-tc. Really sloppy game to watch. From what I saw in the first half, I expected to see a more dominating performance by an A league team versus an up and coming B league team.

The only thing affected TC`s offense, was Signal`s defense. They somehow played a very good game against them. TC`s second touchdown was a very convincing drive, but other than that, they were shut down. If Signal had any type of offense other than their scrambling QB, they would have pulled it off.

Signal`s always had a stellar D, they are just now getting in their groove. But TC`s D, now they put the D in dominate. It`s no secret why they are the best team, defense.

TC may be the best D in the weeknight league, but there are a few in the Sunday legaue who may lay claim to the title.

you are an idiot. Obviously no one in A OPEN is a "below average B team". Union-over .500 in the fall in B+, Wolverines....well yeah they suck, Signal- 7-1-1 in B and wouldve won if not for the Novacaine game. Are they A-caliber...prob not, but at the very worst GOOD B teams.

Obviously, I am biased when it comes to who I think has the best D, but TC`s 3 shutouts in a row (regardless of what you think of who they played) is still impressive.

It is not surprising that TC & Sharks & Bad Boyz are not blowing all the teams out. I am sure all of those teams are just getting into playing shape. Once these teams start to play each other we will see there true games come out. it is tough some times to get up for every game especially again lower level teams. Bad Boyz should have won big on Tuesday night but had a couple of bad plays to let the Titans in it. If TC did not drop so many passes the game would not have been close. They droped a couple of Int`s and at least one TD on offense. Sharks are just getting back into game mode and will continue to improve during the season. Once the competition gets better watch for these three + magnums, greyhounds and rejects to all step there games up.

I think a lot of the players from Lazy Sundae are on Hurricanes, not Spalding.

Hurricanes are not Lazy. Not one member of Lazy is on the Hurricanes roster.

Lame if they did, Lazy Sunday is an accomplished team, to have players playing in the weeknight B league...weak. But I doubt they do.

when lazy plays on weeknights, they play as the replacements. they used to call themselves the hurricanes back in the day, and still have hurricanes on some of their jerseys, but i don`t think this year`s hurricanes have any relation to lazy on sundays.
