Storm +7.5 - dime - Novacaine got a huge win in their quest to sneak into the A playoffs, where they don`t necessarily belong yet as a team. They come up against a Storm squad that doesn`t really belong with the big boys yet either but has shown that they can compete, not giving up more than 17 in any game in a tough West division. I`m not sure they have enough on offense to beat Novacaine tonight, but I think they`ll give full effort and stay within this number with the playoffs on the line.

Teams like the wolverines are the reason why the divisions should be split up A, B and C during the regular season. As a coach in these league, it is very difficult to field a team when you are consistently losing by playing A-Level talent and getting demolished. I mean really, beyond the top 3-4 teams, can any other teams in open beat the top 3-4. What is the fun in going to play a far superior team knowing your chances of slim-to-none?

I mean look at teams like Kryptonites almost beating Greyhounds, Novacaine almost beating Sharks. They may not have won but they still played tough. It gets inexperienced teams better. I`d say except for TC and Sharks, and to a lesser extent Greyhounds and Magnums, everyone is good enough to beat eachother. Look at the records:

Signal: 5-3
Hokies: 5-4
Novacaine: 5-4
CCR NOVAs: 5-4
Storm: 5-4
Badboyz: 5-4
Kryptonites: 4-5

Unless you want to have an A-League made up of only 4 teams (TC, Sharks, Greyhounds, Magnums) Open is a pretty consistent way to do it.

Don`t let the Wolverines ruin it. Look at Frontline, they still played every game and thats respectable. Hell, they played the Sharks very well, and got stomped by Diesel, so it just shows its all about who comes to play.

Wolverines are quitters and p*ssies. Its not like they got blown out. More often than not their games were actually very close.

I think Andy is good too. Not the greatest arm but runs the spread O well.

It`s funny how every season there`s always someone trying to bash Andy. He`s not a bad QB. He doesn`t have the strongest arm in the league but he can go deep and has a lot of zip within 35-40 yards, that`s all you can really ask for. He`s not the most accurate but I would say he holds his own. He was pretty solid when he played us.
