Now that the season is winding down it`s time to take a look at who`s in for the A League playoffs and the scenarios for those teams fighting for a spot. Let`s start with the East Division:

1. Triple Crown (9-0)- have the 1 seed locked up.
2. Greyhounds (7-1-1)- have the 2 seed locked up.

Three teams remain in the running for the final two spots. Even though the Rejects are currently 5th in the standings, they are eliminated from the A Playoffs. Let`s take a look at the scenarios for Union, Signal, and Bad Boyz:

Union:
Have already locked up a spot in the A playoffs but seeding is yet to be determined. This one is simple - Beat Signal and they lock in the 3rd seed and will face the Magnums in Round 1. Lose to Signal and they drop to the 4th Seed and will face the Sharks in Round 1.

Signal:
They currently are in the 4th spot in the Standings but that could all change next week. Win and they lock in the 3rd seed and face the Magnums in the 1st round. With a Signal loss to Union and a Bad Boyz loss to Wolverines then Signal locks up the 4th seed and they will face the Sharks in Round 1. A loss to Union and a Bad Boyz win put elminates Signal from the A playoffs. I don`t see anyway the Bad Boyz lose to the Wolverines so Signal must take care of busines if they want to compete in the A playoffs.

Bad Boyz:
Lose and their out. Win and Signal wins they are still out. Win and Signal Loses they move into the 4th seed and face the Sharks in Round 1. As I said, the Bad Boyz should have no trouble taking care of their end, but it all comes down to that Signal/Union game.

I know Signal has earned a LOT of respect recently and it is well deserved.

I like Union, wouldnt mind seeing them do well, but I like the whole story of Signal coming from B and making A playoffs. Plus there was so much hating on them at the start of the season hwo they couldnt compete with A teams. And Signal has to win to be in, Union could still pull it off regardless of W or L.

guess you dont realize Signal is Hellstown Rosebuds but with a new name who used to play in B+ two years ago but went down to B last year. not sure how much of a story that is.

Hahahah oh well Signals a good team with good guys. Get over it they are the peoples champs.

The signal and Union game is 10-0 2end half with at least 13 on the clock

The score is Union 10 Signal 0 the half had just started Union was intercepted with Signal having the ball with 20 minutes left. Union only had two plays at the start of the second half after the interception there was lightning and the refs called the game. The halves are 25 minutes and 5 minutes ran off the clock.

Union an A team before? I remember them playing in the B playoffs last spring.

Signal did get one play off that ended them up on Union`s 18 yard line.

i wonder who union would rather have in the playoffs, bad boyz or signal. not saying they should throw the game or anything, just wondering who they should be more cautious of.

they shouldn`t be cautious of neither they beat badboys and just cause signal is on a roll doesn`t mean a thing, you stop that QB from running you stop signal.

Although Signal is Helltown Rosebuds we have about 5 players that were on the Rosebud team. Additionally, we have played under the name of Signal, Rebels, and even New York Life (a long time ago) depending on who sponsored us. Since we have so many new players from when we were the Helltown Rosebuds we went back to one of our old names, Signal. We don`t hide that we are the Rosebuds and will probably play under that banner again soon. Thanks for remembering us.

Union made it the the final 4 last season in B+ (losing to Rejects) and made it to the final four in B the season before that. (losing to Chaos/Blazers) They definitely have made some strides in this league. They never were an A team, but they are here now.

They made the semi finals of the B League State Tournament this year. If Union holds on to win against Signal then they get a rematch of the State semis against the Magnums. I think Union could definitely give the Mags problems this time around.

Here we go - the East Division comes down to tonight`s game. Sounds like Signal has about 15-20 minutes to try and erase a 10-0 deficit and try and keep their playoff hopes alive. Their options are win and they are in as the 3rd seed and face the Magnums (Union would be the 4th seed and face the Sharks). Signal loses then you have Union vs. Magnums and Bad Boyz vs. Sharks.

look again fool.....if Union loses tonight they are 5-3-1 and signal (with the win) is 6-3. That would give signal the half game lead for the 3rd seed.
