Rosters

All teams must have rosters entered/updated before week 3 games. Rosters lock Monday 9/14 at 7:30 PM. Between now and then feel free to add/drop. NOTE: players may only play in one division: A, B+, B, or C.

The County is strictly enforcing the out of county player policy this Fall ($20/player), so if there is no address entered for the player - that player is considered out of county.

If you do not enter a roster (or complete roster), there are 3 consequences:

1) if an opponent challenges the roster eligibility of a player on your team and he`s not rostered, the game is a forfeit, and it doesn`t matter if its the championship game.

2) you will be billed for 8 - (rostered county residents) out of county players.

3) This year the VFFA is using locked league rosters for the State Tournament. Your application to play in the State Tournament will include a locked roster you will download from the VFFA site. That`s your week 3 locked roster.

Tom, are you sure it`s only $20? I know Fairfax county raised the out of county fees for the Fall to $30, but I don`t know the date that`s effective. Also good to note that military personnel and their dependents do not have to pay the fee as long as they submit a copy of their military ID.

what happens if i just put some names on my roster as reserves in case some of my current players get injured later in the season, but these reserves never end up playing a game... would they still have to pay fees?

Yes, because the county bases the fees off the addresses on your roster, not whether they ever play or not.
