I`m new to the league so I apologize if this is a dumb/ frequently asked question. Our coach told us that we can`t wear shorts with poekets, if I was to wear shorts with the pockets sewn up would that be allowed?

some refs may let it go some wouldnt. i`d just take your ass to target and spend 15 on some that dont have pockets.

I`ve worn shorts with sewn pockets and never had any problems.

Modells. I went to ****s, target, walmart, all had pockets. ****s had under armor but dont spend 30 dollars cause those rip really easy. I got my russel atheltics for 8 dollars.

Actually, according to the rule book pockets are allowed to be sewn shut. VFFA 2008 Amendments - amendment to Page 8, Rule 1, Section 4, Article 5a.

How would the ref be able to tell the difference between no pockets and sewn pockets unless he gets right up in your business? - you`ll be fine.

I had sewn pockets for 3 seasons - not one ref even mentioned anything.

Pockets r a safety rule if they r closed no fingers get caught and broken. If you guys spend this much time practicing football maybe you would b a little bettr player.
