Are the league stats just pointless now?

yes, but I like the idea...but it is hard enough getting the regular team fees let along anything extra...broke a$$es

I like the idea, but its hard w/it being optional because if all dont pay its irrelevant.

1 team doesn`t pay for stats but the other team does, are stats not going to be published/taken for that game at all?

they keep the stats for the team that pays

maybe they are just slow posting. There are a host of games not posted.

Stats are suppossed to be taken for all games and recorded. Only teams who pay for them will have their stats visible. Unfortuneately there are occasions where due to scheduling issues or miscommunications, a game did not have the stats recorded.

There are some games that have stats which have not been entered yet which is an issue we`re working to correct. For example, when I myself do a field I usually enter the stats when I get home an hour later. Other stat takers consolidate their stats and send them to me or another stat taker who can enter them online. Sometimes this process drags.

This is the inaugural stat season, so we`ll learn where we need to improve the process and address that for the Spring.

Lump the stats cost into the team fee if there`s enough support to keep stats around - otherwise it`s half a$$.

thats really the only way to go.

just throw it in the fee and dont say anything, and every team has their stats whether they like it or not. An extra 7.50 per game wont cause the league not to fill up.

but let`s finalize it at the next coach`s meeting and make it all or nothing, meaning, stats for all games or not do stats at all. I think it`s great and I think we can build off of it.

The stats feature is a great idea, but to thing add to high inaccuracy. The fact that not all teams participate and the fact that not all players on (some) teams where the same number each week.

If each team doesn`t participate, it`s not an accurate reflection of the league. Likewise, if players wear different numbers, or as in the case with some teams, players have the same number, it`s not going to be accurate.

Stats are awesome idea, adds a another dynamic to the league making it more professional, should be included in team fees stats should include flag pulls, it ss flag football. . . just wanted to give recognition to stat guys on the game tonight they where out in the rain doing work thanks guys keep up the good work
