FCFFL Fall 2009 A Runner-up: Triple Crown

THE best "A" League Championship game I can rememebr.

Kerns looked to have the game locked up, leading 24-7 in the second half. Triple Crown scored 14 unanswered points and recovered an onside kick with a few seconds remaining in regulation and the score 24-21. Triple Crown hit a 59 yard field goal to tie the game and send it into overtime.

In overtime, Kerns kicked a field goal to take a 3 pt lead. Then, on 3rd down from the 10 yard line T² from Kerns tipped a pass just enough that the TC reciever in the end zone had to try to tip the ball back to himself - but Kerns got the INT instead and ended the game.

#11 on TC has some serious egg on his face. enough said.

You`re right I`m sure he would soo much rather have a B+ championship. Let`s see who has the egg on his face since we have your team (Banditos) the first round of the Turkey Bowl.

I apologize if anyone on Banditos posted that about Dan. We all support him and wish him and TC continued success in future seasons.

Everyone in this league has played for atleast a few teams. I guess TC stole the QB too from Diesel, wolves...........I`d leave the Banditos for TC any day of the week. Banditos coach makes love to his players

I don`t know what the big deal is. Everyone plays for different teams. I played with the Banditos and TC last Spring and this year I played with the Wolves and TC. Am I eating crow? No. I`m happy the Banditos won their division. If we had started playing last night before there was only 6 minutes left, maybe the outcome would have been different for us. Kerns outplayed us and deserved to win.

How did TC get so far behind? I`ll bet they`ve never been that many pts down before in their entire history?? Nice comeback but looks like Kerns really put it to them until late. Onside kick? Not sure I`ve ever seen one work in flag.

This is ridiculous and stupid. Congratulations to all 4 of the Championship Winning Teams and all the other teams who played hard for the season. There were lots of great kicks, great games, and great plays from a bunch of different teams. People who this board to talk **** and start drama are pathetic and need to find something better to do with their time. Congrats to the TC kicker; sounds like an amazing kick.

I want to see them! Collision and Novacaine are so much better looking than these guys.

man.. looks like I missed a ridiculous game. Congrats to Kerns on the W! I`m heading back that way for the Turkey Bowl and coming back to the area in the Spring.. excited to be get back into a great league!.. Joc, I hear there is serious doubt coming from you about my rumored return.. you`re gonna owe me some Hooters and we can watch the Ravens and Eagles disappoint.

haha i guess that return is going to have to wait.. I planned around it being on the 29th... guess the weekend was switched so I won`t be around for the Turkey Bowl.
