Got a mssg from the Lake Fairfax folks that there was a lot of trash at Lake Fairfax#4 this morning. The soccer group on the field before us assured the County the field was clean when they left.

Please put your plastic bottles etc... in a trash can or take them with you. Coaches: please check your sideline and the bleachers after your game and ensure your team did not leave any trash.

The soccer teams left a lot of stuff there even some personal items. There was a bag with youth size soccer shoes in it and several sport drink bottles. We, I, had to pick up several of their cones as did one of the refs who brought a cone from the other side of the field and handed it to the coach. Of course they said it was clean we were on the sidelines when they left and they couldn`t tell if something was their stuff or ours. We had the first game after their practice and there is no way to say they policed the area especially with the above facts. These are kids practicing soccer, never in the history of organized sports have a group of kids not left something behind. ;-)

That said we will make sure to clean up after our games.

Tom: I agree with Signal, there was allot of trash already there by the 10:00 game. I`ll make sure my guys pick-up after our games.

IF every player picked up one piece of trash (regardless of who`s it was/is) the fields would be clean and we might get a better rep with Fairfax.

It also wouldn`t hurt for us to all get together for some community service once or twice a year. It might help build a better bond between teams and if we are out in our jerseys we will get more people aware of the IFFL/FCFFL.

Tom hire a guy to clean the fields after the game. You can afford this by increasing the fee for each team. win win...

The solution is clean up after yourselves. Good lord.

Hire some Spanish house cleaners to clean after us

Or you can hire the sorry asians that play in this league and make them pick it up. Is there any asian that can play football?

FYI- any team that has an asian, 9 out of 10 times - SUCKS!

If were paying a $1000.00 a season per team, the least YOU could do is make sure there aree trash cans available to us. Get off the beach, walk into you mansion, make some phone calls, its that easy TOM.
