Tom,i`m sure you will know from the refs, but at about 10:40 the lights cut out on both fields. Hokies and Union had about 12 mins left our game. Funny enough, the lights came back on at 11:00. By then everyone left, including the refs. I know have very little control over that, but is there anyway fairfax county can ensure light staying on til atleast 11? We`ve already cut our games down in time, the least they can do is make sure we get the full allotted time.
update Hokies 7 - Union 3 - Union ball on hokies 9 yard line with 12:15 left to play. good battle so far hokies |
I think I will move both of your 5/3 games from LFF to Pop Tree#2 since we have an extra 30 min on that field. Then you can play the rest of the 4/2 game at 10:10 or so.
As far as the lights going out, its been a problem in the past there. Not sure if it was someone on field#4 messing with the box after they finished or a timing problem, but I will definitely report the incident and request an answer. |
