05/03 : Signal defeats Bulldogs 17-7

Signal improves to 6-2 on the season, while Bulldogs drop to 7-1.

Coupled with a win in their previous game, Signal has now won two in a row.

The loss ended a 7 game winning streak for Bulldogs. This is the fewest points scored in a game this season by Bulldogs.

This was the first meeting between these two teams.

Next up for Bulldogs is B-Dawgz (3-4). That game is scheduled for May 10 2010, 20:00 at Poplar Tree #2.

Signal will face off against Speedpass (2-4-1) on May 10 2010, 20:00 at Lake Fairfax#4.

Signal played a good game and we did not. Signal is a good team and they earned the win. We made a lot of mistakes and they capitalized. Good teams will do that. They played a solid game, almost mistake free. It will be a good rematch come playoff time. Good game Signal! We look forward to the rematch.

Bulldogs just had an off night, but I think the Bulldogs in the open will be at least a .500 team.

This is their damn coach, we can handle a loss just like the rest of them. At the end of the day it is just a flag football game. Better to take a loss now than in the playoffs. Boast now and feel good about yourself. We congratulated your team for a good game but now you want to run your mouths, go ahead and enjoy.

I don`t play O, but nonetheless you all can speculate about our team all you want. With a win next week, we will lock up the #1 seed in the playoffs. Like I said before, it is better to take a loss now than in the playoffs. Signal played a good game and we will leave it at that.
