It`s ridiculous that they are too scared to take a beating by teams they view as lesser than them so they quit the league the last two times they join. I agree with what you all are saying, but if you have to fight to get people out each week it sucks. It`s nice when you can just show up and know you`ll have enough, but when each week your constantly making phone calls just to try and make sure you`ll have 8, and still not know for sure, I could see it getting old.

Tom since you`re in the mold of restructure the schedule and we`re one of the remaining teams they play, "if" possible, can you schedule us agasint another A team, even if they are on the East.

I understand what the Wolves are going through because the weekend league we (7pt Spread) play in, we are often short handed with players. But we remain to stay around and finish the season, if it wasn`t for some Union players showing up on the weekend, we would be even more short on players. However, I feel the Wolves should just finish the season and play their last few games. Good luck guys.

While me and Matt would love to play against you guys because we know most of your team from the other league, I can guarantee the rest of my team could give two sh*ts about 7pt spread so it`s not fair to them to make a decision without talking w/ my team. My guess is most of the guys will care more about playing the schedule we were originally given and vying for that #1 seed than playing some grudge match against you guys because we were "called out".

If Tom decides to adjust the schedule and have us play you, then great....if not, then hopefully we meet in the playoffs where it really counts.

Rob, you know at no point did we say any team was "scared", you`re right that is comical. HOWEVER, it wouldn`t be a far stretch to say teams don`t want to put there playoff chances on the line.

In the end, we just want to play a 10th game and against a good team. It`s understood that we don`t have much to win or lose in playing the game and some of the other teams have everything to lose. Our stance is, if the game is rescheduled, we`d rather play a competitive team. If not, we`ll take the f`ing forfiet and live happily ever after.

First off...The originator of this post must have the biggest p^^^^ of them all. If were so scared to play your team as you say, please log in and register so we can keep this as a mental note. We lost four guys for the season! You think we expected this to happen? WTF do you want us to do? We placed a team out on the field when we didn`t have enough and filled in the best we could with players who were able to come out when they could. Now we have five or six definite(s) to finish the season. Do you want to play a team who has 5 or 6 players out on the field? As mentioned above (Dumbells) it sucks to have to wait until game time to see if you will have enough players to show up. Not to mention the hassling phone calls that go along with it.

You guys had to drop out, and for circumstances, i don`t really care. You had to do what you had to do, whatever. Now whether you choose to face the fact or not, that effected us (9 games instead of the paid 10). Another competitive team on our schedule, that might be replaced with the LUNCATICS (yes that is who tom offered us to play). If Tom changed the schedule, would we play them, absolutely, but TOM gave us the option, play them or take the FORFIET (read his other post).

Now how is that fair to the lunatics, they`re fighting for B playoffs and they`ve already played us and would have to face a team, they the "probably" wont beat. It`s a lose-lose for both teams. Wolves 9, For the record even if our season was on the line I`d still rather play that extra game. I`m signed up to flag football, and just want to play as many competitive games as possible. If we were losing I would still want to play the best teams possible cause those games are the most fun. Magnums would be a fun game cause we know a few of their guys, and we were looking forward to playing you guys too... no one`s dictating anything so fall back and stop trying to make it sound like were being ****y, we`d like to have another game plan and simple, and preferably vs. one of the upper echelon teams. I think it`s disappointing to see a team drop out so late in the season. I know Wolves are missing two great players and I guess that number grew from 2 to 4. When we played the Wolves this last week seemed like they had 5 or 6 more guys on the sideline, more players than us. There`s only two more games left in the season and then playoffs. Seems like Wolves could field 8 guys for two more games even if it means making an effort to call people to come out. I understand that it sucks being injured. I tore my MCL last spring and couldn`t play in the last few games and we had a couple more guys out because of other injuries but we still competed.

I called out Mags, Chaos and Novacaines - Mags because of Rob. Caines and Chaos, because they have players that actually login and respond, thus I the chance of me talking in circles to a closet poster would be minimum. And it makes for good conversation on this friday at work.

Crap teams - poor use of words. what i meant was teams that really can`t compete with the upper teir teams. it`ll be week 10, what motivation would they have to show up to a game they KNOW most likely wont be fun. Same goes for us.
