Cruz here, just got off the phone with the manny "the pacman" not too long ago. Congratulating him winning his spot in congress. He`s also where I got my inspiration for my hair style.

Thanks for that update and for taking the time to join us today. I have a lot that I want to get to so lets jump right in.

Tough loss last week against the Spread. What was the difference in that game?

They held us on a key 4th down and short on our end of the field late in the 2nd half. They scored and got another stop when we got the ball back. Game Over.

You`re team went from 4-5 in the Fall to 7-2 thus far this Spring. What has been the key to your team`s turnaround this season?

Can`t compare last season to this one considering we were in the A league. Stacked division means tough games. Plus i sucked as QB so i pulled myself. We ran a different offense this year that seems to be efficient. our D-ends have been playing great.. and defense has stepped it up when called upon against some high powered offense as well.

Cruz-

What made you start running a conventional offense as opposed to the spread you ran last fall? Personnel issue or preference?

Let`s talk about your decision to play Spread. For our listeners who missed it, explain again your decision to opt in and play the Spread.

I loved working the spread (enter that`s what she said comment? ) haha but i actually pulled myself because of too many DE`s going for my arm instead of the flag. 4 different games I suffered the same injury. So the new qb, Van wanted to go conventional. hi van! Don`t get me wrong..I`d still be out there running spread if I could.

Honestly, We wanted to play one of the best from the east. Over time, we`ve play almost every team from A, and wanted to see what the new bully on the block was about. Plus it was a pride thing for us. We beat some top notch teams, but still wanted that respect as a real A league team if we came out and handled our business.

Well it was a gutsy call and you definitely obtained the respect from your colleagues around the league. However, was it the right decision? You have a team that was in the hunt for a division title. Which means that you could have been matched up against a lower seeded team in the playoff with the opportunity to make a nice run in the playoffs. Now you sit at 7-2 fighting for a A playoff berth with the chances of meeting TC or Spread in the first round. Or even dropping down to the B playoffs. Was that the right decison for a team that has made such a huge turnaround from last season?

Nope Stupid decision on our part!! Jk. But we put ourselves in this predicament. We have to take care hollywood and the hounds tonight and go from there. But i`m not trying to get a call from Bun B anytime soon either.

Speaking of Hollywood, you have a big game tonight against the Hounds. Win and you`re in the A. Lose and you need some help from attending a Bun B party. You`re 1-1-1 against the Hounds. What`s the game plan for tonight`s game?

Get into field goal range and beat them with our kicker! haha. (daymn you cruz!!!) Inside joke from the past two seasons.

@ caller - haha .. We have some token white guys on our squad. But we ask them to wear tape on their eyes for that slanted eye look.

As for underachieving? Maybe the word is underdeveloped. We train with bamboo shoots shoved up our finger nails everyday. And thats after doing jumping jacks on glass with our barefeet.

To cover? we`ve always been that team that makes people lose money - so i`m gonna say no.

You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself, as a one man wolf pack. Though when my boy pumba came home I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack, it grew by one. So there was two of us in the wolf pack, I was alone first in the pack and then Pumba joined later. And six months ago when Pumba introduced me to you guys, I thought "wait a second could it be?" and now I know for sure I just added two more guys to my wolf pack. Four of us wolves running around fairfax together in IFFL, looking for strippers and avoiding bun-b. So today, I make a toast!

sorry.. i had to. haha anyway. wolfpack is in a rebuilding season. Hopefully they`ll make a comeback.
