However, if you can consistently make extra points and occasionally make 20+, 30+ yard field goals, available on Thursday nights and the first two weekends of December for States and Nationals, then we would love to have you join our squad.

Hi Locs, well I won`t be on tour for another 4 months so if you need a kicker I would love to play flag football with a group of nice guys. To I argree....I guess if you wannna to be National Champs you will drive up there. To me winning the Fall weeknight league is not really important (dont get me wrong i still wanna win it) but i would much rather have a State and National title than another Fall weeknight championship..

Well in a way, flag football is for fun. The rules are some what different then college and NFL. I travel for my soccer league to different states, then again we get paid from our sponsors ($700 to 900) and our national champ. is held in FL which 80 teams ( is a two weeks tourney) across states lines join.

What team did you play for in FL? I was down there myself for the tourney. FYI...I got paid 350 :0(

I disagree with you Slash. I`d much rather win the Fall league and if States/Nationals was in 2 hours (maybe 3) radius I wouldn`t mind participating. However i`m not driving or flying all over the US to play flag football. Its a hobby I enjoy very much, and winning the "house" league is enough of a high for me. Now you guys have been so successful, that maybe this is the next "challenge" for you guys, but let`s not act like the FALL/SPRING is just the preseason for the big dance.

Ok States is in Richmond this year 1 and Half hours away. Get your team a bid and go. The more teams from the NOVA area the better. And winning State and Nats is the next step for us. From what I hear, the biggest states arent even in it... CA, TX, and what governs a National Flag Football tournament, theres so many Leagues and Clubs out there... what makes this one better than the other so called Nationals being held elsewhere?

So what do you call that title? East Coast Champ, or National Champ. Other leagues/clubs around the nation offer no blocking down field as well along with many other assorted number of matchups, maybe you should learn how to google better? Not worth the bragging rights to fly to Ohio to win a title in only 7-8 States.

The BALTIMORE PACKERS play in that national game every year. BTW that is a way more better/harder national tournament from any other. I know because I played in it last year. My team did ok but we played guys from Cali, TX, FL, GA, and more. However, not here to trash the league b/c it`s one of the best leagues in the county and after seeing the post about mcffu, just wanted to share my thoughts about it...ok now good bye and good luck to you all.

me living as a Flag Football star lol thats funny... I play flag for fun bud and the MCFFU nat tournament played in FLA right???? The Bad Boyz down there there and play in it....i think they have 4 divisions A,B,C,D....if its the same one i am thinking of. Our old QB plays for the DC Jets think they won something last year....

The tournament is ran in Las Vegas I believe and it has more of a creditability to be called "Nationals" compare to USFFA.

I mean I love your passion, but I am just trying to let you know that there`s other places you can fly your team to and gets your money`s worth.

you guys crack me up. when you travel and compete at states and nats. you not only go to compete and win you go and represent the league which you play. it dosnt matter if its tc or sharks or even anybody else in our league and yes i did say our league that does win states or even nats. even though the winning team gets the glory we all share a little bit of the victory as a league. so lets all buck up and bring one of these titles home for fcffl. besides in my opinion i think states is just a tourney to see what four teams is best capable to represent the state. so if you look at the big picture the best in the league make states and the top four at states make nats. so does that mean that the most prestige award is truley nats? i seem to think so. good luck to all the teams and lets represent our league like true champions.
