09/23 : Novacaine edges Rejects 21-20

Novacaine improves to 3-0 on the season, while Rejects drop to 0-3.

The victory continues a 2 game winning streak for Novacaine which now stands at 3 wins in a row.

This is the most points scored in a game this season by Rejects. The loss continues a 2 game skid for Rejects which now stands at 3 losses in a row.

Prior to this game, these teams had met only one other time, on Sep 15 2009, 21:50, a Fairfax County Flag Football League "A" regular season game which Novacaine won 18-7.

Next up for Novacaine is Collision (2-1). That game is scheduled for Sep 30 2010, 22:00 at Braddock Park#7.

I heard jects were up 14-0 at half. Wow. And then the caines stormed back in the 2nd to score 3 unanswered td`s like some true warriors. Jects score with 6 seconds left and decide to go for 2 like some desperate southern folk. Sounded like a great game.

We kicked off, got a stop, then our O drove down to inside the ten. Rejects #19 picked the ball off and went prob 101 yards the other direction for a score. We punt, Rejects catch ball in back of the endzone called a TD at first, then ruled incomplete on 4th down. Next play ol` #19 picks off another pass and scores again. 14-0 Rejects at halftime.

2nd half we got ball, Cube Boy takes one handed grab about 60 yards to the house. Our D got a stop on 4th, then Novacaine #1 caught an underneath route and goes 60 yards to the house. 14-14. Novacaine #5 gets a pick, Cube Boy corner route for TD 21-14 Novacaine.

I had to go to the hospital cuz I dislocated my finger but from what I heard we backed the Rejects up to their 3 yard line with a sack, and on fourth and 2 cones, from their own 3, they somehow threw a 97 yd TD to guess who...#19. They went for two, had a drop, and we won 21-20.

Rejects are tough, I knew the defense was nothing to play with. Don`t know who #19 was either but he was a beast. Great game Rejects maybe we`ll see you in the playoffs.

I think Greg is #19 been around for a while and yes he is good but he wasnt playing when we played them (hurt?)

Unless Greg has turned black, gotten shorter and recovered from an ACL then # 19 is not Greg. Greg is out for the season.

Yeah they played a tough schedule so far...Wolves, BBoyz and Caines all seem legit. They could beat Mags, Chaos, 7pt, and maybe the Sharks, 4 wins could get ya in.

couldnt make anything happen on offense. they capitalized on mistakes that were GIVEN to them. Only nice play they had was the end of the game until they choked it away because they though they had it all figured out.
