10/06 : The Union escapes Hokies 22-21

The Union improves to 5-0 on the season, while Hokies drop to 3-2.

The victory continues a 4 game winning streak for The Union which now stands at 5 wins in a row.

Coupled with a loss in their previous game Hokies is now on a two game slide.

Prior to this game, these teams had met only one other time, on May 03 2010, 22:00, a Fairfax County Flag Football League "Open" regular season game which The Union won 9-7.

Union went for 2 at the end of the game for the win. I was suprised at all the scoring that was going on.

yeah it was a game of cat and mouse. you score, we score. there were a few defensive stops and a lot of long drives by both teams. We pulled off the 2 point conversion to go ahead, but hokies almost scored on the last play of the game.

always a battle between our teams. hopefully we`ll see each other again in the playoffs. good luck the rest of the way.
