Defensively they are high risk high reward, challenge Qb every snap to read defense never line up the same. Hounds have athletes to compete just very lil concept of this flag game. Are the Spartans legit? Do they play by the rules? I see a lot of penalty talk from regional scout, which by the way must be a ref because from what I hear nobody else was there or stuck around from the previous game.
DO were there any spectators there? I`d like to confirm my suspicions of who regional scout is.

There were people on both sidelines cant say who was with who or not sir. Yes we play by rules,lol just couple fouls for being physical nothing dirty.

Good game last nite by both teams our line needed to give my qb more time. But overall the Spartans are a good team (besides all the talking) but its football we had some players missing and we still need to knock the rust off. But good game none the less. Good luck to those guys in the rest of the season.

The Spartans are legit...I can`t take that away from them. Offense is talented, defense is high risk, high reward. Overall, they are pretty organized to be a newly formed team.

They are a very physical team which is cool with us (half of our team plays in a full contact league which includes blocking downfield).

@ Question - it`s 2 leagues in Maryland, they always have tournaments and stuff. We play in the Saturday league (which is a church league) but it`s mostly the same teams that play again on Sunday and in the tournaments. If you`re serious about playing, hit me up. You won`t be disappointed. The league is called "DC Ely League" if you want to google it and check it out.

Im a teacher at a highschool. toughest comp by far is the MCFFU, see alot more athletes but main differance is physical play blocking, down field, live extra points field goal being able to body up pull flags, and lineman are eneligable, I do believe some the top teams in this league can compete nationally with the eligable style teams on the mccffu circuit.

D O old high school coach Bill Brown is the head coach there now for the last 4 or 5 years. Dude has turned that program around. D O was a straight monster when he played at Hylton for Bill Brown. Them fools won like 39 straight games and back to back state titles. His cousin Jeff is a monster to but was a terrible ref up at the Dullessportsplex, lol..sorry dude but he was. He made some awful calls...

@ but - I agree that Stone Bridge is a beast in football. They made states almost 7 years in a row. As for the Concorde Dis. I can agree is ONE of the best and hardest districts in Northern Va. With each HS winning a state title or making it to states finals, then again I graduated from Phoebus in 2006 and I would like to say Tide Water area football is the BEST.
