03/28 : Novacaine edges Magnums 13-12
Novacaine improves to 2-1 on the season, while Magnums drop to 1-1.
Coupled with a win in their previous game, Novacaine has now won two in a row.
The loss comes on the heels of a Magnums victory in their last game.
These teams are very familiar with one another, having now played 7 times. Their previous contest occured in a Fairfax County Flag Football League "A" playoff game Nov 11 2010, 20:30, which Magnums won 24-17. Overall, Novacaine is 4-3 against Magnums.
Next up for Novacaine is 7 PT Spread (1-0). That game is scheduled for Apr 05 2011, 20:00 at Poplar Tree #2.
Magnums will face off against Spartans (2-0) on Apr 06 2011, 21:00 at Lake Fairfax#4.

Mags intercept Caines duck 1st play, score on fade route next series
Caines punt, short pass to Rob turned into long TD run, Mags miss both XP.
Caines punt, then get a pick, return it to redzone, can`t convert.
12-0 Mags at halftime.
Caines force INT (Caparelli)taken down to 3 yd line. Caines switch QBs, throw a pick.
Mags punt, new QB Bloss throws long TD to Joe #10, 12-7 Mags.
Caines force another punt with 5 mins left, drive field down to 15 yd line. Bloss hits center Ali for go ahead score. 2pt conv failed, Joe #10 picks off first pass Mags throw.
13-12, Caines. Caines didn`t have Cube or their normal QB. |

recap was pretty much dead on. Credit dumbbells and the novacaine D for holding us to about zero yards in the 2nd half. Big win for them especially since they did it without Chase there. |
