I came on the msg board to apologize to the teams playing at GB#6 last night. I just wanted to express my frustration as well with the situation we have using shared field space. I want everyone to know that there is precision coordination done prior to scheduling games. The lights specifically are on an electronic satellite timer. The only way the lights go off is if a person turns them off. I have been organizing/coordinating these efforts for over 8 years and I still don`t understand why these things happen. The FCFFL has a great working relationship with the area managers who maintenance GB#6 and we will all continue to work on eliminating situations like last evening with the lights going out unexpectedly.

Again my apologies to the teams who put forth effort and showed up last night and were not able to play. If you have any further questions/concerns please contact me.

Sincerely,

Rob Holland

The only way the lights go off is if a person turns them off.

To elaborate on what Rob wrote, this `person` is probably a youth coach from one of the other fields (or GB#6) who flips the wrong panel switch. Since all the lights at GB are on timers now, no one should messing with the light box to begin with, but again - there may be coaches doing it "the old way". You wouldn`t think someone would maliciously do this. Because this has happened on consecutive Tuesdays, it narrows down the field of who else is out there.
