 What is the best method of finding out if games are cancelled on a given day? In the past, the rain line always seems to be out of date and not correct.

We`ve been blessed this Fall with only one rainout for both the Sunday and weeknight league - and that was a rainout in progress where the first game actually started. The rain line WILL be updated by 3:30 PM (that`s when the County usually makes their call on field closure) on days where we cancel in advance, as will the messageboard.

the policy on turf? are those games usually played unless there is thunder and lightning?

This list is useful if there is rainfall during the day or heavy rain the previous evening. It does not adjust field closure status based on "expected" weather or field conditions - that will be updated by the league after 3:00 PM if weather is an issue.

Turf fields only close for lightning (any field should be closed if there is persistant lightning) and snow/ice conditions.
