"With no more rainouts, playoffs will start on Thursday 10/27 (instead of Halloween - 10/31 Monday) with 2 B play-in games, 2 A Quarterfinals, 2 B quarterfinals, and 4 C play-in games. We`re going to email coaches, and if enough teams would rather play on monday 10/31 - we`ll move some games to that date. Playoffs will continue on Tuesday 11/1 with 2 A Quarterfinals, 2 B Quarterfinals, and 4 C Quarterfinals. On Wednesday 11/2, we`ll play 2 A semifinals, 2 B semifinals, and 2 C semifinals. Prior to these semifinal games, we`ll poll the coaches of the teams left to see if we should hold the championship games on Thursday 11/3 or Monday 11/7. If the B Tuesday games are rained out again, but the B Wednesday games are played this puts the B Tuesday division two weeks behind the B Wednesday. In this event, we will not reschedule the cancelled B games, but would take 16 teams into the B playoffs the following week. Same scenario will apply if the 10/18-19 games are played and then the 10/25 make-up games are rained out." Tom-FCFFL

;	We still have regular season games left to play in all divisions. No team in the A League has a playoff seeding fixed. In B League, no team from B WED knows who their first round game from B TUE will be against. We`d rather have all games in a league completed before posting a schedule. I have already spoken with the A League coaches who could possibly finish in the top four regarding their first round game. After tonight`s games the A schedule will go up with quarterfinal games THU 10/27 and MON 10/31. Assuming there are no rainouts, we`re now looking at this: THU (10/27): (4) B play-in games, (2) A quarterfinal MON (10/31): (2) A quarterfinals, (4) C play-in games TUE (11/1): (4) B quarterfinals, (4) C quarterfinals WED (11/2): (6) semifinals - A, B & C MON (11/7): (3) championship games If two THU teams playing each other would rather play MON (and vice-versa) those games can be swapped one for one - but not until we know who is playing THU and MON. So, 1) if you finish in the top 2 of your division in B or C you do not have a game until TUE 11/1. 2) if you finish 3-6 in B you have a game THU (10/27), and if you win on TUE (11/1) 3) if you finish 3-6 in C you have a game MON (10/31), and if you win on TUE (11/1) 4) A League will have two quarterfinals THU (10/27) and two on MON (10/31) 5) We will attempt to swap out games if we have teams who prefer to play a THU game on MON and vice versa - but only after we know who is playing when. 6) All teams who advance from their league quarterfinals will play their semifinals on WED (11/2) 7) All teams who advance to their league championship game will play that game on MON (11/7) I am going to work on putting info into the brackets today which will bring them up to date with where we stand as of today. It is possible that we`ll get rained out tonight and tomorrow. If this happens, the playoffs will not start THU, and the playoff schedule for next week will change to accomodate a lot of games. If tonight`s games are played, but TUE games are rained out there will be A quarterfinals on THU + the C TUE make-up games (keeps A and C on track). B will take in 16 teams and play 3 quarterfinals MON and 5 on TUE, keeping all semifinals on track for WED (11/2). If tonights games are rained out, but we play TUE, the A make-ups will be played THU, and A quarterfinals will be MON (10/31) and TUE (11/1), still keeping all semifinals on track for WED (11/2). ;	How is it that we play on Monday and thursday all year and then the playoffs are on Mon. tues. wed. thur. What`s the deal. I have a schedule to hold with work and coaching football and have planned for a monday playoff. I`m sure there are a lot of other teams who will have problems also.

;	Playoffs have pretty much always been consecutive day events (used to be MON, TUE, WED, THU). Everyone has to bite the bullet for at least one game. We`re trying accomodate teams where possible for first round games. We have to schedule games in clusters of 3/field (or 2 in some cases). The only day you guys are playing that you normally would not is the WED semi if you advance. Your other two games (first round and championship if you make that) are MON games.
