While there are refs at other fields not doing a very good job, the refs at Poplar Tree #2 deserve to be acknowledged as some of the best out there. They are professional, know the rules of the game, understand how to ref a game (as one of them said to me....the best refs are the ones you don`t even notice running the game), know when a penalty should be called, and most one of the most important things....they care about the league and the players within the league.

While people are very quick to bash the refs that don`t do a very good job, nobody seems to give credit to the refs who do an outstanding job.

Rob/Tom- Thanks for having these type of stand up refs officiate our games.

We, as players in this league, really need to tip our hats to guys like the crew at Poplar Tree #2.

;	Good call. The refs at ECL have been pretty good too (except for the one that tries to fight everyone, but even he knows the rules pretty well and makes good calls). The ECL refs have been consistent and have known the rulebook on pretty much every occasion.
