Maybe now everyone will quit with the non-sense that the Fall weeknight league is the "real A league"

The best A team currently is the Sharks, Just look at their post season record and try to compare another team. However, Novas are the most recent team to hand them a L. They both play weeknights. So the big boys still play at night.

So no need to jump on the B+ teams just yet.

Where are: Lazy, Invequity, Mac Daddies, Lions/Wolves?

Issue is, other A teams have folded or are making the switch to Sunday knowing they have very little or no chance of winning the A title at night. I can`t blame them $920.00 a lot of money. Odds right now are better on Sundays.

you`re an a$$, just like the rest of the idiots on this board. if you look at the standings from last fall`s weeknight league, you`ll see all the best teams in the area. Sharks, Novas, Lazy, Plumber, Lions, Kerns. w/ the exception of Rhinos and Dietz, tell me how you wouldn`t call that the toughest league...

OK tough guy, why don`t you take all the teams that played last fall and compare them with the teams that played on Sunday last Spring. Granted Sharks and Novas are tougher, but the Spring is deeper. Plumber, Lions and Kerns from that season were no where close to being top teams; as compared to their history. That`s been the trend the past couple of years, weeknights getting weaker while Sunday is getting tougher and deeper. You`re living 4-5 years in the past my friend. Look at this season, even Sunday-Fall, which was historically "weak", is tougher than your so call "toughest league." Times are changing, wake up.

Well

I`d take Wolves, Bad Boys, Lazy, and Rhinos over the Sharks, Coyotes, Fairfax Force and Webb Construction any day.

The Fairfax glory days are over. The Sharks got their a*ses handed to them in the first round of states last year.

sorry boss, outside of deitz, rhinos and lazy, the rest of the teams on last year`s sunday league were B teams, at best. there`s no depth if the teams suck. I`m not denying this years sunday leauge is deeper than the weeknight league, but up until this past week when we found out no one wanted to play on weeknights, this was the real fall A league.

Thats how you measure a teams worth in the Fairfax league based on thier A state performance? Thats just stupid! Why not base it all the beat downs they laid out on Fairfax teams last year and this year! With the merge of Sharks/Kerns are on another level of play, just ask the teams from this years Bark Bowl. Glory days may have just began.

Wolves vs Sharks, would be a damn good game, shame Wolves are playing Sundays. I feel bad for Dietz.

during the couple week layoff between the regular season and states, i think the final four from each league (weeknight and sunday) match up for an 8 team tourney.

The comparison isn`t Fall-Sunday versus Fall-Weeknights. It`s Spring-Sunday versus Fall-Weeknights.

There`s no comparison, a$$man, the only team that doesn`t play spring sunday`s are the Sharks. Up until this year, all the same top teams played in both leagues.

Word is there is a C division team that really should be in the A. Former State Champs playing in the C?!! That`s just wrong!

If we didn`t play in C, there`d only be 5 teams = no football for You! It`s all just basically practice anyway, so get yo` self ready for GAMEDAY!!!!

"If we didn`t play in C, there`d only be 5 teams = no football for You!"

If this team has those guys from the old Red Dogs team (i.e. 4th and 2 Cones) - you`re moving up or getting a refund. We`ll run the C League with 5 teams rather than have that team playing in C again. If not - nothing to worry about.

I will be in touch with the coach tomorrow.

Tom-
If the rumor is true, move them to A where they belong. And ask a B division team to move down. You`ll have an even number of teams in all 4 divisions.

who are the red dogs?

i say let them play where they want to play.

it would just make the C teams better in the long run.

There is no reason why a former State champion team has any business in any division but the A. Essentially what you are suggesting is that we allow a team like the Sharks or Novas to take a season off and be allowed to play in the C-division? How fair is that to the new teams that are just forming?

Relax!

Aug 30, 2007

Why are your panties in a bunch? You think those A teams actually want to "take a season off?" If so, they are total cowards, and deserve to be booted out of the league. An A league team dropping to C makes absolute zero sense.

Regardless, Tom will take care of it either way.

That is a straight b*tch move. "Tom, did you get them yet. I`m telling." I don`t even play in the C league. No team would move move from A back to C unless they have basically a whole new roster that is unproven. Stop being a b*tch and worry about your own damn team!
