As usual, the state tournament director has shafted the top teams from Fairfax, especially the Novas and the Sharks.

The Sharks have to play three times on Saturday to get to the final four including their opener which is an 8AM game against the 2004 State and National Champs, Teligunz (formerly Young Gunz).

But the team that really gets screwed are the Novas. Not only did the #1 seed from Fairfax fail to get a first-round bye, but if they manage to get past 2004 State Runner-up Blindside in the first round, they will have to face newly crowned National champ D-Mob in the second round.

I guess the Sharks and Novas failed to get their little envelopes full of money to the director in time.

;	that. I`m thinking something is suspect about the so-called "random draw". However if there are teams that can get the job done it`s Novas and the Sharks. Honestly I like the Novas seed. They get a shot at the Champs regardless. Do the damn thing fellas!

;	get the defending champs out of the way and sail to the final four. same for sharks really. the toughest team in their bracket is the gunz, get by them and coast the rest of the way. sharks can do it, gunz have a lot of speed but ZERO toughness. watch and see...

;	Sharks/Novas, to be the best you have to beat the best...bottom line. Whether we beat them in the 1st round or the Finals...the Ship goes through those teams. Let`s just whup azz early and bring the Ship back to FFX. Good luck to all teams heading down to Richmond.

;	Fairfax, suggest you review last year`s State "A" bracket to see the times and opponents these teams drew at that time. Power and D-Mob both drew early games and had to play 3 on Sat. So what`s the beef! You say Sharks would have to play 3 to get to Saturday, but wouldn`t the Gunz have to do the same? As much as we would like to, we cannot ALWAYS offer EVERYONE late games against perceived "weak" opponents in the first round. Besides, we only have beer at HQ, you will have to bring your own whine! - RCJ
