The season is winding down and we`ve got some playoff upsets from last week. I went 2-2 in the second round predicting the top of the bracket correctly (invequity vs. banditos), and wrongly predicting the bottom half of the bracket (gang green vs. vienna inn). I look forward to some great semifinal action this week. Here`s how I see it.

Gang Green vs. Vienna Inn
Vienna Inn proved me wrong and soundly beat S&S 21-12. Gang Green won a hard fought game against Spalding 13-10. That gives us a great matchup in the semifinals between two teams I thought would get knocked out in the first round. Vienna Inn has proved their ability to put points on the board, while Gang Green has proven they can win close games with two straight nail biters. I expect Gang Green to keep this game close, but I see Vienna Inn`s offense proving to be too much.

Invequity vs. Banditos
Banditos were my big upset pick last week as they took care of Helltown. Like Vienna Inn, Banditos have shown they can score. Unfortunately they are facing a team that is undefeated and has found a way to win week in and week out regardless of how pretty it looks. This is very tempting to take the upset Banditos again, but I don`t have the marbles to pick against undefeated Invequity (I did it once and they went out and won big).

;	I can`t wait for the spring season to start, b/c I am sick and tired of all of this nonsense on the message board. I am here to say that there is B team in the league that is better than we are. I say that b/c we were undefeated when I started 8 games to be exact. All of those teams that I had a chance to play against, knows what we bring to the table. We are a totally different team. Don`t mean to make excuses, but I am a little sick and tired of everyone dismissing our team. Consider yourselves lucky, we will be back. S&S

;	swami, you need to do a little homework on your picks. i agree with your invequity pick since you gotta go with a proven winner, but do you look at the scores of the other games? how can you give vienna inn scoring 22 points on gang green? gang green`s defense has not given up more than 17 points all season including playoffs... looks like they only gave up one TD in the past two games!!! their defense is going to win the game for them tonight. count on it.

;	Great game last night between Invequity and the Banditos. Double overtime. Banditos could have won it prior to overtime with the game tied but elected to go for a touchdown instead of kicking a field goal. The pass was intercepted and Invequity kept lateraling the ball for what probably would have been the winning touchdown on the last play of the game, but one of the Invequity players who got the ball had lost his flag already. Banditos scored first in OT and then would have won the game intercepting Invequity in the end zone, but the Invequity receiver took the ball away from the DB in mid-air to come down with the tying TD. In double OT, Invequity scored first and the Banditos had the ball knocked away from their WR on 4th down. Great game by both teams on a fairly muddy field.

;	other note`s.... invequity`s first touchdown in the second half should have never happened because 2 plays previous, the same DB made an silly 1 handed pick that was called back for defensive holding on the other side of the field. also, in the first OT, after the bandito`s score, invequity was trying to dump on off to a lineman that was an overthrown lob... but the other DB had stone hands and dropped an easy pick that went through his hands and bounced off his chest, which would have ended the game right there. then the play in the endzone happened. bandito`s in zone against split receivers. the db and wr both went up for a jump ball and both had control it in mid air. while falling down, a second invequity receiver in the area took the ball away from both falling players. finally after the score, the extra point snap bounced off the ground before the kick was made, but the ref`s botched the call. a good game by all, bandito`s shot themsleves in the foot 3 or 4 times and could have had the upset of the season. but those little things are what seperate the good from the great.

;	I also remember an amazing touchdown Invequity scored on their first drive that was incorrectly called out of the endzone..overall banditos played a great game...but somehow invequity came up big on last defensive stand in 2OT
