Anyone else think it`s time the commissioners start to ban some IP addresses from posting on the messageboard? Do we really need to clog up the messageboard with childish posts and threats? If these individuals enjoy wasting their time so much, they can exchange e-mail addresses and bore each other with their nonsensical blabber.

That might be the smartest thing I`ve read on here. It was very amusing until the rediculous posts started going up.

I think it makes the league look bad when we have these rediculous posts. You think any new person trying to start a team will want to join this league when they come on the website for the first time and check out the messageboard posts that include threats and racially insensitive remarks.

Let`s have fun, it is flag football, but let`s also show a little more maturity

i would like to see a log in assigned to rosters. You have a database of our numbers, team, and names. Creating a log in for registered players is the best bet. Keep off the trash, and the messageboard honest and at the very least confined.

I`m going to put a warning at the top outlining what else unacceptable (threats, impersonation, and certain types of personal attacks).

Trash talking and personal expression is fine, but I agree some of this is getting out of hand.

If it keeps up after that we`ll indeed ban IPs from posting.

It`s just my opinion but it seems that most the racial and inappropriate post are coming from a select few new guys, in the lower leagues, trying to make a name for them selves. A good set of rules posted, and short or long suspensions of (IP addresses) for those who break the rules.

I know I use a silly name, but I try to stick with football related topics at the same time have a little fun with some of my opponents. I’m sure we can all agree that the last thing we want is this league to be pulled from us because of a fight that was started on the message board.

I agree with Sad Clown and from what I understand, Tom agrees as well. Trash talking is fine as long as it relates to football and on the field play. It`s fun to talk a little trash and poke some fun at teams/players. It is important to stick with football releated topics on here.

I`ve warned my team about the negative postings on this board. Personally I don`t agree with any type of trash talking on or off the field. I`ve played this game for many years (not just flag) never needed to talk trash to my opponent to be successful or build my confidence. Not my style of play and don`t intend on having anyone on my team that plays this way. I do understand those who find enjoyment of the jawing on the field. But it needs to be kept to the field.

What concerns me is that we have players in the league that have taking it too far. From foul language on the field to suggesting fighting. All this does is hurt the league and our ability to play football on public fields. Ex. I`ve got several players that bring their kids and families to watch the games and don`t need their kids to see how stupid a player can act. Some of these young kids are trying to learn how to play this game. I expect my team to demonstrate good sportsmanship. I expect the same out of opponent. Don`t care how good you are or your team, respect the league we play in.

Well said Raw Dawg. Problem is our new guys in the league have picked this type of sportsmanship or lack of from the new grade pro`s. The "It`s all about me", group. If you knock me on my but I`ll tell you good hit. It I return the favor you can guaranty I`ll be the first one there to help you up. Good luck tonight guys.

I agree with everything my coach has said. I`m able to admit I`ve crossed the line a couple of times, and I apologize on behalf of myself and what portion I have of my team`s presence in the league.

We talked about integrity before the season began and the want and desire to have our team play good ball but also be respected for our sportsmanship around the league. My apologies on behalf of our team for some of the things that have come out on this board. That is not what we are all about by any means, we carry ourselves to a higher standard. I am calling off the Dawgs, let this message board crap go.
