1. Christ Central - Coming into the playoffs as the #1 seed, Christ Central looks like the team to beat. They finished the season undefeated, but with 2 ties against average teams. They will await the winner of Unions vs. Chuds which will provide an interesting 2nd round matchup. Chuds lost to Christ Central 13-7 in the first game of the season. The Chuds are currently riding a 4 game winning streak. The Union just played Christ Central and lost a close game 21-16. Expect Christ Central to win in the quarterfinals in a close game and should cruise through the semi finals on the way to the championship game.

2. Grayhounds - Grayhounds finished the season on a disappointing note with a loss to D-Unit. They will have to limit their offensive turnovers in order to advance deep into the playoffs. They will face the winner of Blazers vs. Ballers. An intersting quarterfinal game would be Blazers vs. Grayhounds. These two teams played in a close battle the first game of the season with the Grayhounds winning 6-3. A great semi-final match would be the rematch against the Renovators. Grayhounds probably have the 2nd toughest road to the championship.

3. Renovators - finished the season as the 2nd highest scoring offense in the league. This is a team full of athletes who have the ability to matchup with anyone. They will await the winner of Magnums vs. D-Unit. They are coming off a close 1point loss to Magnums and would want nothing more than to beat them when it counts. There`s a good chance that they won`t get to see this matchup and will instead face an athletic D-Unit team. Renovators should win in the quarterfinals before winning a close game against grayhounds. This would setup a championship game against Christ Central, matching the two highest scoring teams. But if renovators look too far ahead, they may get blindsided by an upset.

4. Entourage - They don`t win pretty, but they find a way to win. They are the 9th best team in point differential, yet they are the 4 seed with a 7-2 record. They have yet to beat a team with a winning record and their two losses were both shutouts to Christ Central and Magnums. Entourage may continue to be the sleeper team, and they have the toughest road to the championship. I look for Andes Alehouse to knock them out in the quarterfinals.

5. Andes Alehouse - They had a chance to lock in the 1st round bye, but came out flat against the Chuds in a 21-14 loss to end the season. AA will have to come out ready to play if they want to make some noise in the playoffs. I expect them to come out ready to play and should win a decisive game against Sausages before winning a close one against Entourage. They will eventually fall at the hands of CC in the semifinals as they just can`t matchup athlete for athlete against them.

6. Magnums - they really played well in the second half of the season. Their offense has found ways to put points on the board, but their defense is a big question mark as they gave up 47 points in the final two games. They have a first round rematch against D-Unit, a team the Magnums struggled with in their first contest. D-Unit has really come towards the end of the season and they should be able to beat the Magnums in this rematch.

7. Blazers - the Blazers had an up and down season and until they played the Magnums, it was questionable whether or not they would make the playoffs. In the final two weeks of the season the Blazers have put up 47 points while their defense has allowed only 24 points in 2 dominating wins. The Blazers and Ballers game will match up two quick and athletic teams. I think the Blazers just have more experience and more momentum and they should win this one. They will play the Grayhounds tough in the second round, but the Grayhounds are too good of a team.

8. The Union - Like the Blazers, The Union had an up and down season. 3 of their 4 wins came against teams that did not make the playoffs, and their 4th win came against D-Unit (11th seed) who had to play a doubleheader. They have not beaten a team with a winning record, but they did play a close game against Christ Central. I expect the Chuds to give The Union a handful in the first round.

9. Chuds - This may be the hottest team in the league right now. They are currently riding a 4 game winning streak after starting the season 0-5. Two of those four wins came against playoff teams. This team may have the best offensive and defensive line in the league. Their quarterback is very quick and can cause defenses fits. I expect them to win against Union in decisive fashion. They should be able to play Christ Central very close as they work to contain their quarteback. Unfortunately Christ Central has too many athletes.

10. Ballers - The ballers are a very quick team and have played in a lot of close games which should help them as they head into the playoffs. After a 3 game losing streak, they bounced back with a shutout win against Big Pimpin to end the season. Expect a high scoring game against Blazers, but the Blazers will prove to be too much.

11. D-Unit - This is another team filled with athletes and have played a lot of close games throughout the season. They have proven they can play with the top teams as they tied Christ Central and had an upset win over Grayhounds. Had they not had to play a doubleheader they probably would`ve beaten Union and would`ve been a 7 seed. Instead they are looking to a rematch against Magnums. They should be able to out athlete the Magnums and beat them with their quickness. They will face a tough test against Renovators in the quarterfinals and look for d-unit`s season to end there.

12. Vienna Sausages - This is a team that really overachieved to start the season going 3-0-1. Things went downhill from there as they finished the season with a 5 game losing streak. Most disappointing is a loss to Drama on the last night of the season. Vienna Sausages were lucky to make the playoffs and the first round is where their season will end. Andes Alehouse should win big against the Sausages.

In the end I look for Christ Central to win the Championship over Renovators by a final score of 27-21.

I hope it`s someone either with or playing in the league. It creeps me out to think that there may be some random dude stalking recreational men`s flag football leagues. B Leagues, no less.

You`re gonna have to earn it baby...GL but it ain`t gonna be easy playing teams twice.

That`s the main thing here. We`ve now seen each others tricks. The playoffs will go to the team that can best adjust to their competition from past experiences.

The Herndon ref`s are the worst! Not paying attention half the time, calling absurd penalties, it frustrating. Wakefield refs are the best we`ve had this year, I hope the ref crews don`t hold over into the playoffs!

Rumor is that Andes Alehouse lost the last game on purpose to the chuds so that they could face a weak entourage team in the 2nd round.

If AA had beat Chuds, they`d be #4 seed and Entourage #5 seed...either way they`d play each other in round 2 (assuming they get past the Sausages)

so according to your theory, why would they lose on purpose if they were going to play entourage anyways? want to know my theory, stop making excuses for losing.
