Can anybody provide me with info on:

1) The rule differences between the IFFL/Fairfax County Leagues and what we will be playing at States?

2) Names and locations of fields for States?

Thanks.

They won 2 games in A league and would get crushed if they played in A. They are a B team at best. Leave A to the big boys.

U R Kidding, thanks for the kind words on the Rhinos. As I am sure you play for a high quality A league team who routinley dominates at states, would you have an info you can share on my initial question concerning fields or rule differences at states?

There are really no rule changes at states. Only thing that is different is a shorter field. Usally about 35yards sideline to sideline and 80yards end zone to end zone. Fields are a lot better than the ones in VA BEACH. Not sure abot the name of the park which it is being played at, but its about 10 min from the host hotel. Hope this helps.

FYI...If you dont think you can compete in the A bracket, you are allowed to enter as a B team even though you played A this year. I recommend going in the B if its your first time there. Gives you a better shot at winning a game and not just going for one and done!....GOOD LUCK

Dorey Park

In the past when states are in Richmond, the games were played at Dorey Park. Not sure if this has changed since `03 though. The fields at Dorey are pretty nice, they have crab grass on them, but atleast it is grass and they drain very well for the most part. The field size is a major difference as stated above, but also don`t forget the weather too. No matter what happens weather wise (excluding lightening ofcourse), we`ll be ballin`! Glad to see you guys (Rhinos) going down this year. You`ll be competitive if playing in A and you`ll have a chance at winning it all if playing B. Oh yeah, and the games are about 2x the length of our league games too, so bring depth, it matters.

hey dave, want some cheese with your whine. they don`t usually go to states for one, and for two they struggled in a this year, so it is perfectly fine for them to play in b at states.

you must play for a team in b that fears the rhinos! yeah baby, FEAR THE RHINO!

True! What a bunch of pussies, crying about what another team is doing. If your team is going to the A bracket then worry about that. Stop ****in and prep to play some ball.

Could some of you please make up you mind on the Rhinos? During the spring and fall I read a bunch of posts on these boards about how we got lucky to win the IFFL in the spring against inferior competition and had no business playing in the A league in the fall. Now that we our going to Richmond for the FIRST time and have decided to start in the B bracket, suddenly we are the NOVA version of the Patriots and are feared by B teams everywhere?

Sef, sorry to hear you will not be playing. Hope to see you on the sidelines.
