get a life, play your own damn sport, whether or not u play in the rain doesnt justify the masculinity of it, but putting down others and what they choose to play just makes you look insecure with your own. soccer is more difficult than football anyway, admit it. we always use our hands, but how coordinated are our feet?

Hold on

It`s lame to diss another sport. But ain`t no way soccer is more difficult than football, Everyone can play soccer but not everyone can play football. Thats a fact. Soccer is the sport little kids play when they suck at football, baseball, and basketball.

Exactly, "hold on." That`s why the sport is gaining in popularity, anybody can play. Like softball or checkers.

You coul not play pro football at 14 because u would get broke the flock up plus the nfl would not allow it.

Thats it....

...I am pulling the yellow card on you for that one, or the red card...which one is it? Any sport that pulls a card for a foul has got to be lame, at least a guy in the NFL almost got blinded by a flag a referee threw. Then again, maybe a soccer ref got a papercut from one of those cards.

i don`t hate football, and i`m not saying its worse than soccer, so stop getting defensive, or i suppose i can stoop to your barbaric-football-is-the-only-real-sport level and say that anyone can play football just as like you say anyone can play soccer. where do you get your so called "facts" anyway? anyone can pick up a football, throw it, catch one, run and dodge people that come after you.

Soccer has too much running and not enough contact. not downing it, it`s just not for me. Not every one can catch, better yet have the instincts to dodge some one 100lbs heavier barreling down on them. List of real sport, in no particular order, goes as follows: bull riding, football, hockey, soccer, basketball, rugby.

Golf, ice skating, tennis, bowling, those are hobbies not sports. They`re fun and people get PAID doing them, but they`re not sports. Put them in the category with curling.

Well I told you guys, on every message board I have ever been on all you have to do is diss Soccer and the board will blow up. I was just kidding about soccer being a **** sport. I just wanted to get you guys talking about something other than who`s the best player in division C. Have a nice day.

You forgot to add Track and Field to list of real sports. Ain`t nobody on this board got what it takes to train like an Olympic sprinter or long distance runner and this sport is all about running an no contact. If you wanna get really technical Pro-Body building is the hardest sport on earth with the littlest reward. So to all the soccer players that think running around and kicking an over-sized ball into the biggest goal know to sports need to go away. Nobody on a football message board wants to hear it.

I disagree

i think people should want to hear it. I`ve never played soccer in my life, but i have to admit when the world cup came around i couldn`t turn the tv off. i was even watching it at work. my girlfriend is from Puerto Rico and she loves the sport. as americans we have to realize just because something isn`t popular to us doesn`t mean it`s nothing. Soccer is hard in it`s own right. You guys say it`s easy to kick a ball. well soccer players have a similar argument because it`s easy to throw and catch a football. but have you tried to go out and `dribble` a soccer ball or perform a bicycle kick? not so easy.

1) Football, soccer, basketball, hockey, field hockey, water polo, and lacrosse are all the same sport with different rules tweaks (Your team takes the ball or puck down field and tries to put it in the opponent`s goal).

2) Body building is not a sport - it`s a beauty pageant with oiled up dudes. Anything that requires judges to vote on scores is not a sport (figureskating, diving, gymnastics, etc...).

3) That includes boxing - I think that if you didn`t knock the other guy out, you didn`t really win. Punch harder next time, Becky-Ann!

Yawn...ZZZzzzZZZzz.... All sports have there place somewhere. No American Football player should say soccer is a **** sport. I have played against some of the areas best soccer players and these boys can run. No soccer player should ever say football is easy. The last time I checked there are no 360lb lineman running a 4.5 40 at you wanting to rip you head off. Is there any one in our flagfootball league that can honestly say you would go over the middle against the redskins knowing S. Taylor is back there. I wouldn`t it.

You can`t compare Soccer to Football. Soccer has been around the US for many years. There is no money it, is the reasn why nobody cares about it in the US. Just look at womens pro soccer. Soccer at best is a very good club sport like lacross. I Don`t think Americans will spend billions on soccer like we do Football or Baseball. Unless the US fields a soccer program that can dominate the sport for decades. Right now we get handled in international play. The best athletes won`t play soccer untill the checks get bigger. They`ll continue to play Football, Baseball, Basketball leaving the avg athletes to play soccer.

I`d go across the middle, S. Taylor or not. Once you`ve played in college or against players on that level, whats there to fear. As the WR you have the upper hand, the DB has no clue where your going. Its the QB`s that leave the WR`s out to dry. Hit me with a nice crisp pass on the run and we all know S. Taylor is suspect when it comes to one on one coverage. Was it man coverage in the red zone yesterday and he got scored on???? on the replay looked that way to me.

I never got to the College level so I can only go by the big hits seen on sports center. Your right, Taylor can`t cover, and watching the game my man in Dallas, Williams can`t either. Like it or not the QB will make you or brake you in any level.

apparently you didn`t go to the college level to l
