Another season is upon us and after just our first game of the season one player left with a broken nose and another left with a hole in his lip that required stitching. Two reminders that we are all just one play away from a serious injury. As we know, injuries and accidents aren’t limited to the playing fields; they can happen to anyone, anyplace, and any time. An accident could cost us significant time away from work, which in turn could result in a financial scenario that many of us have yet to consider and/or prepare for.
I’ve played WR/DB for the Sharks for the last four years. I also work for AIG American General, one of the worlds largest accident and life insurance companies. I’ve decided to go out on a limb this season and market my services through the message board. Despite things that get said during a game or posted on this board, we should all have a mutual respect for each other’s teams and their well being because that very intensity is what makes this league as great and competitive as it is. With that being said, I feel we all deserve an opportunity to protect ourselves, and our family’s financial futures. Even if you’ve never given it much thought at all and would like some free, no obligation information, this is a great opportunity, you now know someone in the business with whom you have a lot more in common than you thought.
