Last night, I noticed that every player on My Plumber was wearing receivers` gloves, including linemen. Is this to aid in flag-pulling? We gave up a few long TD`s on plays where we had 2 or 3 guys around the ballcarrier plain old whiff on the flag-pulling part.

Flag pulling just takes practice. I suppose the OL was wearing receivers gloves because their "eligible" and the gloves help them catch the ball -- That`s usually personal preference. I feel I catch better without receiver gloves.



Depending on the glove, a lot of gloves -- if it is wet (rain, fog, dew, etc.) -- can actually make it more difficult to pull a flag.



It just takes a few games to get the hang of pulling the flags. Some teams even practice it.

The lineman that are wearing gloves will have balls thrown their way. All of Plumbers lneman can move and they often send them out on routes since they usually play 4 wide and space the field. I play D most of the time but think gloves make it harder to pull flags because you can`t feel if they are definitely in your fingers. I wear them because I have hands of stone and drop balls thrown right at me.

well, maybe plumber used to have linemen to throw to, but not those jokers from the other night, no way, they were horrible.

some people will post with their team and/or jersey number, but most are too afraid to do that. plus, since you just type in a name for your post, even if someone posts with a real name/#, you can`t always trust it.



i think the commish leaves it like that because it people had to log in and have their names attached to their posts, they`d be too afraid to post and the board would get boring real fast.
