Bootleggers improve to 1-0 on the season, while Cougars drop to 0-1.

This is the most points scored in a game this season by Bootleggers, and the first time Bootleggers shutout an opponent this season. This is the first time Cougars failed to score against an opponent this season.

This was the first meeting between these two teams.

;	SHARKS - started out in A and won the most championships Triple Crown - Started out in A and won two championships back to back 7pt Spread - came in the OPEN season but won it last Fall. A league is tough, so is always better to start in the bottom and work your way up. Look at Novacaine, Magnums, Rejects, and how well they compit with others. Bootleggers are doing the right thing by building their team from season to season. Banditos may not win the season but sure will in the future.

"Scrub" refers to a type of person, not a collection of persons. So maybe if you said "Both teams are full of scrubs" or "Both teams have a bunch of scrubs", it would have made literary sense. But you didn`t. And even if you did, you would still be wrong because (using your dialect of English) "Both teams are not scrubs". In your second post, in which you attempted to defend your first post, you said that you`re "Just stating that they aren`t that great", which is a far cry from saying "Both teams are scrubs". Apparently, between 12:26 and 12:58, you cooled down a little bit. Maybe you bummed a cigarette or had some bagel bites. I`m assuming something along these lines happened, because your posting name no longer had an exclamation point at the end of it, thus, signifying a regressing level of implied emotion. Either that, or you can`t even comprehend your own writing, which is very sad. So, my final thought on is simple: If you`re going to be a D1CK, make sure you don`t post anonymously and please do your due diligence first. And, by all means, feel free to state your opinion. Just try not to change it so drastically mid-thread. And one more thing - don`t use "sincerely" as a closing, unless you understand what "sincerely" means. Sincerely, NM#1

;	@ A.Beast. Just make sure you bring it when you decide to line up against us. If you show. Not to mention we have a completely new roster with only a handful of returning players. So unless you were there last night. You havent seen us. Never said we were ready for A. But we will be competing for the top of our division. Hopefully we can pull it out this year. Also, over the past couple seasons, we`ve played a couple teams in A. We`ve had our ***es handed to us a couple times, and we`ve also beaten a few. So how are those teams in A then? To make it easy on you. We beat Hokies(kdaw) and BadBoyz, played close with Collison and CCR, magnums was closer then score showed, and got destroyed by Novacaine and Chaos. I think Union too beat us bad. So call us scrubs all you want, but until you have anythign to back it up, you`re a nobody.

;	beating the Hokies was a good win assuming all their players were there. Badboyz in the rain was weather related, especially considering their double and triple passing offense, even if their starters actually showed up in the rain, which i doubt. CCR peaked 5 years ago. Magnums toys w/teams when they`re winning. If you play A right now most of your games will end up like the Novacaine, Union, and Choas games. Not trying to be a hater, just stating it like it is.

;	Just keep getting better, ya`ll are fine. Our first 2 games in A 2 years ago we lost to the Sharks by 1 pt fresh out of the B League. Sharks had won A like 5 years in a row before that so we felt good about the game. The next week we got destroyed 28-0 by The Mags, who everyone said "weren`t as good". It just shows you anything can happen in this league because no one is really that much better than anyone else.

;	The weather was perfect for mid March….rainy, cold and windy. I enjoyed watching the Spartens/Novacaines before us. The Cougers played us tough last night. There’s mutual respect between our teams, as there are between most player’s/teams in this league. Not sure what all the fuss is about???
