10/18 : Triple Crown sneaks by Magnums 21-20

Triple Crown improves to 6-0 on the season, while Magnums drop to 2-3.

The victory continues a 5 game winning streak for Triple Crown which now stands at 6 wins in a row.

The loss comes on the heels of a Magnums victory in their last game.

;	Mike did well on the two goal line plays. Went for 2 because I wanted to play for the win. By the time TC got the ball after the kickoff there was 2min left in the game. We were missing one of our top DBs and weren`t exactly shutting down the TC offense so I didn`t think we would get the ball back under any circumstance. So basically I viewed it as if we kicked it and tied it up then the game would end in a tie (if we could stop TC from scoring). I`d rather play for the win. Sucks we couldn`t convert but it proved true that we never got the ball back. TC got 2 first downs to kill the clock.

They ran the same exact play to Mike on a 2 pt conversion. Mike I believe had an INT too when one of our WRs bobbled the ball right into his hands when we were driving down on our first drive.

;	I thought it was a bad decision to go for two. TC was fortunate on the two possesions mentioned above (tipped ball was a hail marry to end the half). @ Mag Coach: How do you play for the win when their is 4 mins and whatever seconds left in the game? You play for the win when your facing the last play of a game. Even if you score the two, you still give TC over 4 mins to get in field goal range. You should of tied then played for a defensive stop. Overall it was a good game played by two of the better teams this season.

;	@ Bad Move - As soon as TC got the ball after the kickoff the refs blew the whistle for 2 minute warning so there weren`t 4 min. left. As the coach you live and die by your decisions. If it works then it`s considered a gutsy call.....when it doesn`t work it`s considered a bad call. Going for 2 worked earlier in the season against Organized Chaos (which by the way was with the same amount of time left on the clock). It didn`t work last night so I take the blame for that. But in both circumstances I`d rather play for a win than a tie.

;	mags are a good team with good players. we knew this game wasnt going to be easy. they caused us to miss alot of flags which is a big part of this game. we made enough plays to win, thats all that matters. good game mags, im sure we will meet again before its all said and done.

;	If you`re not scared you go for 2 regardless. Even with 4 min on the clock, a fine tuned machine like TC ain`t giving you the ball back unless you have 2 timeouts AND stop them in the first set of downs. Furthermore, if they play for the tie, they`re basically playing NOT to lose, because whether they get the 2 or the 1, TC is coming out trying ot get in field goal range to WIN. Big props to all the people going for 2. It`s really a no brainer to A league teams. Others seem to find some type of "sigh" in a tie. Only time you go for the tie is if you`re down out and it saves a LOSS.
