Good morning! We’re back and better than ever! Welcome to the season premiere of the 2010 Spring Season of ESPN The Show. We have our resident FCFFL and IFFL analyst Swami Sez sitting in with us today. We’ll get his assessment of the season thus far and going forward. We’ll play a little fantasy flag football and he may even take off his mask. So let’s make today an unproductive one! Swami’s running late due to traffic. He’ll check in momentarily.

While we wait for Swami to check in, the new phase in professional sports are athletes giving lame excuse to why they failed a PED test. It used to be a time where the smart athlete would admit to it and then apologize to the their fan base and team. We would forgive them and then they would move on (i.e. Alex Rodriguez, Andy Pettite). But now we have this new breed of athletes that thinks that fans are absolute idiots. First we have Brian Cushing, LB for the Texans, his excuse for failing his PED Test, “Overtraining”. Now we have Alberto Contador, Three-Time Tour de France Champion, now claims he failed due to “tainted meat.” Really? C’mon man.

My question to you, while we wait for Swami Sez, to check in, is how many of you would honestly take performance-enhancing drugs if it increased your chances of obtaining a big contract or winning a championship? Phones lines are open at 1-800-SAY-ESPN

;	Sure, I dropped 7 Point to 10th simply because I`m not a believer. They`ve already played over half their schedule and sit at 2-3 with the Mags and Collision left to go, plus the Rejects. I doubt they win any of those games and I think they`ll be at the bottom of the division although truthfully it could be Chaos or the Sharks down there too the way things look. It`s apparent that the change in QB has seriously set this team back. The Bad Girls moved up due mostly to what I can only perceive as an easier schedule to finish out on. They don`t play TC and they get OC, Sharks and Wolves to pad their record with. The only possible losses I see finishing out for them are the Mags and the Caines.

;	@Slash - Sorry, I read your posts quick as I`m afraid of catching something. @ESPN - Clearly 7 Point Spread has to be #1 on the list this week. To lose to a team on the skids like they did to Chaos is just an embarrassment. I think it`s probably time these guys regrouped and went back to their Saturday kindergarten league. With that being said, it stand to figure that the Wolves need to be included as well, losing to the Grove`s Shed Spread team on Monday. Its apparent the weeknight Wolves are not the same as the Sunday Morning Los Lobos, and I think the difference is clearly @ QB. Without Jeremy, the Wolves are merely puppies. The Sharks are off this week, but simply by being 0-3 another week I`m including them. I mean, really guys, didn`t y`all almost win states in December? WTF? And of course I`d be remiss not to mention my favorite team who sucks, Mutiny. Until these sandbagging pussies move out of C, they will be on this list perennially.

;	I think it could easily be TC and the Caines in the ship, but I doubt it. Triple Clown is beginning to look to me like a team that just won`t get it done in the postseason. Not because of a lack of talent, but because of an abundance of it. I have a feeling that by adding the players every year that they may be taking away from their chemistry as a team. I could be wrong, I mean look at their Bark Bowl team this year, but I predict they fall in the second round of the playoffs again. I think the Candy Caines and Dummy will make it to the ship this fall, but more than likely they`ll see a team like Collision or the Bad Girlz. I also wouldn`t put it past a team like Sharks to do just enough to make it into the A playoffs and then show up for the playoffs and make a nice run. Collision in my opinion is the top sleeper pick of the Fall. No one is talking about them, and they never do but Forrest and Jenny and the rest of the crew have been getting better and better each season. Prediction - Collision knocks out NickleCrown in the playoffs with a last second 40+ FG! Oh the irony! The Rejects are down because they lost their starting QB, their backup QB and then they let DO walk away from the team. I don`t care how good the rest of the team is, that`s not something you easily recover from.

;	@Caller - I agree with Chaos, but I think the other team left out in the cold will be 7pt. @ESPN - I think several years ago there was a valid argument for either one. However, with the weak decision to go with an Open format this Fall instead of A and B divisions there`s not much debate, the FCFFL is stronger. Especially now that it`s becoming clear that the Sunday teams people thought would be dominant are not. For instance, Who U Wit is clearly not the same team they were in Richmond and the Pitbulls seem to have lost their bite and with the Sunday Morning Lobos folding I think the toughest team left on Sundays is probably Collision.

The man is a true credit to my heritage (I know you all wanted a clue to who I am, so there you go). I mean just look at his body of work, LA Law, NYPD Blue, Dexter, Pee Wee`s Playhouse. And yes, now Outlaw. What range this guy has! As for Dummybelles, look, the man`s a good sport pure and simple. I admire what he`s done by building a strong Novacaine team, even though it`s CLEAR he should have paid better attention in school. Yes we had a guy that played the 1st 3 games but he was basically filling in because our normal QB had classes and couldn`t make it. @Our play. Between getting players to show, and not being able to stop anybody, we need to step up in a major way or we`ll be getting that invite from Port Arthur, TX native Bernard Freeman.

;	Fine fine, look maybe I was a bit hard on B+. At least those teams probably want to play tougher competition. My honest opinion is one of the top 3 teams right now (Hokies, Union or The Situation) wins it all. FCFFL ends with a Gump Gang vs Candy Caines showdown for all the marbles. In the end, Dummybelles gets the trophy and his team all splits for Triple Clown in the Spring and they fall on their face just like the Mags are now. IFFL ends with Collision losing to Rhinos (who I predicted earlier will turn it around) in the ship for a second heartbreaker for Gump and the Gang. I also predict we`ll have at least one final four team at states and nationals, provided we don`t get Gunz early on and we travel well. In all honesty, that`s the one thing I wish for this league more than anything. That we start showing well at all the state tourneys, not just the ones in our backyard. Every team in this league would be better off for it, as would the VFFA and quite frankly, the rest of the VFFA member leagues wouldn`t be able to run with us if we represented in the way that I know we can. Oh, and grow some balls and step up Mutiny.

;	No, that`s incorrect. They had more than one Canes player. I talked to them. Half of our squad was injured and not playing when we played them last year. We didn`t make any excuses. The best team won that day last year and the best team won twice that day this year. We`ll see them again two more times this year.

D.O - I can`t comment on, I haven`t seen him play but word around the league is, he lives up to the hype. Mike Nunn, say what you like...the kid makes plays. ;	I think Dee from BadBoyz and "Santana" from Collision are game changers, as is Grove. Never game planned for any of the other dudes, and I`ve played them all several times. Overton is a problem as well. Tae #14 from Chaos, and dude from BadBoyz (dark-skinned short rusher/safety) lock it down. Collisions qb is due for some props as is Novacaines qb. Havent seen Rejects play this season yet, but they have always had a mean rush, and TC`s rush is always a problem.
