Let`s liven things up a little. Who ya`ll got in the Monsoon Bowl tonight, Novacaine or Collision? The rain makes it a different game...

Novacaine is going to choke tonight.. Dwight tells me theres gonna be No Cube, No Dumbbells and no other D1`ers.. And as for their Quarterback - he cant perform when its wet (thats what she said)....

.. What is the single most important thing for a Team? Is it the Jerseys? Is it the Cleats? Is it the Plays? It`s the people. The *people*. My proudest moment at Dunder Mifflin wasn`t when I increased profits by 17%, or cut expenditure without losing a single member of staff. No, no, no, no. It was a young Guatamalan guy, first job in the country, hardly spoke a word of English, but he came to me and he went "Mr. Scott, will you be the Godfather to my child?" Wow. *Wow.*....... Didn`t work out in the end. We had to let him go.... He sucked

its great that we have these turf fields that drain so well that we never have rain outs but there is usually a night a season where logic and common sense should prevail and the games should just be rescheduled rather then having to play thru tropical storm remnants

Dude, you cant` have it both ways. Guys b!tch to no ends when we have fields (grass) and games have to be canceled because of rain or poor conditions because of previous rain. It sucks because it pushes the season back, and basically forces all kinds rescheduling, conflicts, etc... In comes the turf field, where you can still play as long as it`s not lightening, but then you know if it`s raining you`re not going to get a good showing of people nor will you really be playing a "good" flag football game. It is what it is. Keep the turf and keep the same policy.

Did you play last night ?

Nope, but I`ve been forced to play in like weather, in a playoff game. I`ve also been on the other end where the games get canceled and pushed back week after week and then the schedule drags on and the commish has to make an unpopular decision that somebody will b!tch about.

Well

if you were not there last night , you really can`t comment on the subject. I do see your point though , but sometimes you have to use common sense.

I wouldn`t have wanted to be there, so I see your point also, but, as in the name, it`s a lose-lose situation, somethings gotta give.

Common sense says nobody should even be outside driving, standing or playing football in that type of weather. There are a laundry list of reason`s to back that up. FCFFL says, play ball!

players have it easy. We only have to be out there for an hour and some change. The refs last night has to be out there for 3 games straight. If they can stick it out, we have no room to complain.

look, i`m not saying cancel the games whenever it rains. what i`m saying is that there is usually 1 or 2 nights a season where we get some major storm and it pours very hard for a day or two. in these cases trying to throw a waterlogged football around is ******ed. the fields hold up very well, thats not the problem. but the game becomes a joke at that point. would it really be that difficult to postpone those types of games? again, i`m not talking about your light to moderate rains, but the days when we get 4 inches of rain and the ball gets so soaked after 4 plays it becomes useless.

maybe you should bring extra balls (thats what she said) and towels. Since it is only 1 or 2 nights a season...deal with it. Stop the whining.

you`re probably the same dude that b!tches when it rains 4 or 5 inches on saturday, then get mads because it`s 100deg on Sunday, but IFFL has already decided to cancel the games.

Dude you can`t have it both ways. Hell last December we play Nationals in like 3 inches of snow and it was coming down. So try playing on a field where the refs can`t see the lines, and you can`t feel your hands, and you can`t run or cut because you`ll bust your a$$ because half the snow has turned into ice.

shouldn`t be a problem because both teams are playing in the same conditions---- everything equals out not matter what weather.

on those kinds of nights bringing extra towels and balls does absolutely nothing
