The "A" division looks strong this season, possibly the strongest in a long time, which makes it tough to rank the teams going in.  Keep in mind, even the teams at the bottom of this division are strong teams that would most likely flat out destroy any team in B+ or below, so don`t take this as me saying your team is weak.  Well, unless of course you signed up to play "C" when you normally run in "B" *cough* *cough* Mutiny pussies *cough* *cough*

1. Triple Crown - Stop crying, they`re the favorites.  Yes, I know, I know they lost to Rejects in the Spring and the Sharks in the Fall.  But when you talk about the Triple Clown boys, there`s one thing you HAVE to know.  They recruit better than ANYONE in the league, bar nunn.  And yes, I spelled it that way on purpose because they landed themselves a big fish in recruiting Mike Nunn away from the reigning champion Magnums.  Couple that with holding on to Dre for the fall (Although the Painhounds are running.  I guess they registered too late for him again.) and the guys wearing the purple spandex t-shirts (seriously, who the HELL thought that was good look??) are looking deadly.  Not since the 1980s Redskins has a team boasted such a formidible lineup of  Smurfs as their starting wideouts.  Big question mark - Kicker.
   
   


2. Sharks - After a solid showing at States last year, Slash and the boys are back and already looking past the Fall season and on to States and Nationals.  That`s still more than enough for them to beat everyone except for Nickle Clown this year.
   
   


3. Magnums - Losing your best player hurts.  It really blows when he goes to a competitor.  Magnums will still be a force, but not enough to keep up with the Sharks or TC.
   
   


4. Rejects - Wow.  These guys are SCREWED.  I have it on good authority, that not only have they lost their starting QB for the fall, but their backup QB as well!  Their only chance is to throw DohOverated at QB and let him go.  Which, by the way isn`t a bad option.  Mr. Overton has the reputation of being an excellent semi-pro QB and could be a big playmaker at that position for the `jects, but who the hell is he going to throw the ball too?  I heard TC sent him an Edible Arrangement gift basket after the Bark Bowl, so maybe he`ll head over to the Purple Side too?  Man, I`m telling you these guys know how to recruit.
   
   


5. 7 PT Spread - Oh my God, I`m so excited that my favorite cheeseburger loving fat guy is back!  No, not Bundy.  Grove!!  What`s the over under on Grove`s starting weight this fall?  I think I`ll set it at 350 to start and see where how it gets bet going from there.  In all seriousness though, 7PS can play, they showed us that in the Spring.  They looked average in the Bark Bowl, beating teams they should and getting handled by the better teams.  Same thing this Fall, A is a lot harder than Open and I think they`re going to find it out the hard way.
   
   


6. Wolves - Only putting them at 6 if they have 8 guys to play with.  Can anyone confirm that?  I mean, even if they only had 4 I`d rank them higher than Chaos, but that`s about it.  Wolves have always been a good Sunday morning team, but they consistently struggle on weeknights, which makes me wonder why Los Lobos decided to take Sundays off this Fall and focus on weeknights.
   
   


7. Collision - The Gump Gang is good and always seems to sneak up on some teams, but I just can`t help but feel like with the level of competition in A this season that they`ll be seriously overmatched.
   
   


8. Novacaine - No Cube, No Love.  Also, you`re still spelling your team`s name wrong Dummybells.
   
   


9. Badboyz - One trick pony.  All the A teams already know how to beat you.  Face it, you`re the United of the weeknight league.  Too good for B, but not even close in A
   
   


10. Organized Chaos - Stepping up to A is going to be a painful experience for the Chaos guys, but one they need.  If they truly want to be good, they`ll take their lumps this season, learn some lessons and come back stronger in the Spring.
