Our team would like to apologize to the league for having to withdraw mid-season.

As most know, we have always been a team of about 11 to 12 guys max. Unfortunatley, we lost 4 guys this spring to season ending injuries. In addition, we lost another 2 guys for personal reasons. This left us with 6 available guys and very few options to continue playing.

We lost 5 guys early on this spring but played CCR with the 7 guys we had left. During that game, we lost another guy for the season due to injury.

Yes, we had 11 guys for the Novacaine game. The reason? We didn`t want Novacaine to...

1)play 8 on 6
2)have them all show up for a game just to find out there was no team to play

so we brought 5 guys not on our roster. We did this knowing full well if our roster was questioned, we would have to forfeit the game no matter the outcome.

At that point, we decided it was unfair to both our players & the league to continue playing. We know our withdraw causes both scheduling & playoff seeding problems and would again like to apologize to both the league as a whole & to Tom, our UNBELIEVABLE comish who makes all of this even possible with all of his hard work.

;	Way to step up and provide everyone with the reason behind your decision. That`s a class act move by Jason and the Wolves organization. Sorry your season was plagued by the injury bug. I wish everyone a speedy recovery and hopefully we can do it again next season.

;	Jason I wish y`all the best and hope you guys return in the fall. If you need till fill up some spots on your roster, I know a few guys who want to play next fall or chat with ROB ( Mags) or Cody( 7pt Spread) to pass the word in their weekend league, I`m sure they won`t mind. Take Care

;	I`ve been there. Calling your nephews neighbors cousin 2 hours before gametime to try and make sure you have 8 sucks, and having a bunch of dudes who dont know the rules let alone the plays makes it a major pain in the arse. by giving notice and getting your opponents replacement games and not having the other team show up at the field w/o anyone being there is the right way to go out. get healthly and best of luck in fall.

The original thread maker "UGH" did. So I apologize in my last post if your team thought I was refering to you guys as the ones calling us out. I not trying to give you guys a hard time but you didn`t exactly come out and make it seem like you were asking for more competitive games or were upset that you paid for 10 and only get to play 9 games. Couple Cody`s first post with UGH`s, and it just seemed like adding to the fire. Refering to a team as "crap" is wrong, regardless if it were a make shift Wolves team or any other. Coming from an injured player, trust me, you would rather play a lesser team, than to not play at all. I a big fan of the league and I look forward to 7PT/TC match-up next week. Hopefully I will be there to watch. If not, I look forward to watching some great games come playoff time to finish up the season.

;	TPO player, thanks for putting that out there. Everybody that has played us over the course of the season knows that we enjoy playing the game and take it for what it is, it`s all in fun. The ruckus that some guys try to create on the board about us being arrogant and sh@t talkers is only partially true, haha. We may be arrogant, but we respect every player on the field and don`t have any problem humbling ourselves if and when we get beat on plays. It`s a loss to the league that the Wolves will be folding for the remainder of the season, because we were defintely looking forward to the match up, but Wolves #9 you definitely have justification for doing so. We will see you guys in seasons to come. And as for my team from last season (Union), fellas, thanks for stepping up to the challenge to face us on Thursday night. Let`s hope that were not too emotionally drained from the win against TC on Wednesday to give you guys a good showing, haha

;	what everyone is forgetting is that you cant add new guys to the roster at this point in the season legally. so you`re damned if you do and damned if you dont. if you add a bunch of new guys people will complain about that. if you forfeit they complain about that. its a no win.
