To all team coaches and your players this week the Fairfax league has already had an incident with a player being suspended for bumping into a ref when leaving the field. Coach`s if a player bumps into, pushes, threatens with verbal abuse, and or assaults any official of the Bull Run Association that player could be suspended from one game to FIVE YEARS depending on the severity of the incident.

In addition all players should know that the Bull Run Association may go to the Fairfax Magistrate to file assault or threat charges on any player that does assault or verbally threaten to assault and or cause harm to an official.

The IFFL or FCFFL will not tolerate any behavior of this type against league officials. It is the coaches responsibility to keep your players in line.

;	I say kick the guy out... there`s really someone out there that wants to physically threaten a zebra who is basically doing us a favor by reffing our silly little county league games. Permanent Ban!! No room for that at all.

;	I am tired of BUTCH (Dick) having all the favoritism in this league. That guy needs to be kicked out. By allowing that behavior your only allowing that behavior to occur again. There should be a NO TOLERANCE attitude towards this issue. Start making this a precedent in this league. We are here to play football not assault people. Keep in mind by allowing these issues to keep occuring can make the league liable. OJ out!!!

;	do you even know butch? do you know the situation and what happened in the game? i was there watching and the player in question was a d-lineman for my plumber, he got called for a late hit on the qb, which from what i saw was not dirty btw, and he appeared to put his head down in frustration for getting the penalty and headed back to the defensive huddle. with his head down, he slightly bumped into the official making the call and then simply walked around him when he noticed who he had bumped into. appeared to be a total accident to me. i think a game or two suspension should suffice as to not let this go unpunished, but to say someone should be kicked out of the league, in this instance, is too much.

;	I know of a few guys who were banned for bumping into other players.I am pretty sure he knew the ref was there .Is he that blind to his surroundings that he didn`t notice the guy wearing the BLACK and WHITE stripes.He needs to go, at least for therest of the season.Oh, yeah and make sure he doesn`t get on ANOTHER team.

;	Joke about it all you want , but we can make an excuse for everything we do.You allow this and then the next thing that will come up is that for personal foul penalties- guys will want the refs to pick up the flag as long as they say I`m sorry.YOU CAN`T MESS WITH THE REFS.

;	we`re all adults and we should all know right from wrong, if the ref made a mistake so be it, it`s very obvious that the ref`s don`t make the clearest of calls or decisions but they are out there doing a job, this job that they do is to allow us as teams and players to have a safe and equal opportunity to enjoy our favorite passtime. Lets grow up and do what we come out to do, play football. PS: make sure the ref`s in this league check there attitudes as well because sometimes ref`s will think that there above the law and attempt to act like badasses, that they are not paid for!

;	If you weren`t there to witness exactly what happened, shut up. As the guy stated earlier, the guy may have accidentally bumped into the ref "with his head down". Please people, don`t act as if you have never been frustrated with an official before and verbally expressed yourselves. I do not condone any extreme measures against an official because they are helping us. However, YOU ALL have talked trash to an official. Bottom line, NO PHYSICAL INCIDENT, NO THREATS. But an accidental bump into an official (if accidental) should only warrant a 1 game suspension.

;	Clearly, all of you who think that this player should be "fried" are forgetting what its like to be in this position. Don`t act like you`ve never gotten mad at the ref for making a bad call. I watch ALL OF YOU from the side talkin mad trash about the refs and loud enough for everyone on the entire field to hear. In this situation, the ref just got mad because the guy just walked around him rather than apologizing and understandably, the ref should get respect in that sense. There was no threat, just a bruised ego.
