Its clear, that there are too many games in A, making for lopsided scores and boring games with elite opponents versus bumsquads. Throw em back to C and watch the boards lighten up with "C League Prediction" posts!!

Hip Hop Hooray WHo down with OPP Garbage games

Tom, not knocking the league just knocking the whack ass vetting process to allow some of these team in.Ether allowed 56 points.

I only see a handful of games worth watching, Cains, TC, & point, Wolves and Bad boyz

There needs to be a B division. Otherwise, most mediocre teams would not want to be in A.

gotta agree, while there is some benefit to playing against better competition its not worth the large number of non competitive games that do nothing but demoralize a B league team and give the A league team a glorified scrimmage. if there was a shortage of teams and it was unavoidable it would be one thing but w/22 teams it seems like we could easily make an A and a B/B+ just like fall. Perhaps each team could have 1 or 2 games per season where the teams from A played B/B+ but i dont really see a need to have it mixed all season.

who cares?

If a team signs up for open then they should know what they are getting themselves into. The A teams will wind up playing each other in the playoffs and same with the B teams. It`s a nice change of pace from the fall, and it helps the spring season differentiate and make it a unique experience. Just cuz one game some team scores 56 points doesn`t mean the whole system should change, its not like there has been blowouts even close to that this year. If it`s not broken don`t fix it.

A League for the Fall, however I always liked the open better then putting a hand full of teams A , B+/B because each team gets to play each other or better their team for the next season. Let`s not forget teams like "G Unit" who stayed in B League for who knows how long but not trying to get out of topic, just like my team this season we are not doing as well as we want to playing against teams as TC, 7pt Spread, and Novaicaines but it gave us a better look to how we can rebuild our team again...then again is just my thoughts into the whole A/B+/B thing.

who gives a ****. Like i stated before the spring is to see how your team stacks up regardless if you win or lose atleast you get to see some great competition. The fall you will be where you belong and you can argue that your the best A, Bt, B, C team. I know i enjoy playing teams above or below my level just to see what i need to do to better my squad. So stop whining about peoples stomping on each other cuz i`ve been there its part of the game.

Yes, there will be some regular season games where teams are overmatched - but come playoff time the competition will be more even.

I have talked to coaches about this format for the Spring and most (about 80/85%) are in favor of it.

There are advantages to the Open format:

1) The "B ish" teams can experience and learn from playing against the next level of competition without having to worry about getting overmatched in the playoffs and having guys walk off the team.

2) The A level teams can experiment with new personnel and strategy and don`t have to worry about who can`t make every game in the Spring (since for various reasons its usually harder to get the full team to show every game in the Spring).

For the Fall, most of the A teams have their personnel set and are more focused on getting ready for States/Nationals - so week-in week-out A competition is needed, and the B level teams can put to use new strategy, players and chemistry against each other and also prepare for B States.

TOM where will the States/Nationals be played this year? Also bow can a C league team jump into that?

Problem

Is with many of the teams schedules. True B teams play most all A teams every week! If the B teams get killed by all A teams and happen to beat one and lose one to B teams how will they even make the B playoffs? Everyone should get in the B playoffs that don`t make A playoffs. It`s not really far to only take 8 teams and have the bottom teams out in the cold when they had to play most all A competition through out the season.

But all the other B teams are also playing the same opponents. So eliminating the top 4 slots in each division (A playoffs), we`re actually talking about 7 teams fighting for 4 playoff slots (B) in each division. That doesn`t seem too unfair as more than half of those teams will get in.

Having said that, if 8 and 9 in either division have identical records I might consider 8/9 playin games for the 8 seed in each division, but there has to be a cutoff as all teams get 10 regular season games already.

thats a good idea. there has to be a cutoff point but alot of the true B teams are going to get left out

I played in a lot of leagues ( FCFFL, IFFL, and Nova FFL) but FXA has to be the worst league I ever played in. Teams in our C League will crush their best teams and all this crying really sounds more like what they do over their...just sad. Take this season and improve your team for the Fall and stop b*tching on the boards.

FXA is a joke
