Week one of the regular season. Is almost in the books. Here are the recaps and predictions of the games played and the :games upcoming:

My Plumber vs. Larry’s (7-6)
This game was a barn burner, decided by a missed extra point. It was not the blow out that everyone thought it would be. Larry’s hung in there and scored a late touchdown. With the game on the line and a chance to go to over time, the kick went “wide right”!!! are you kidding me. Larry’s, a B League team from last year, taking a giant step forward, give My Plumber a scare. Congrats to Larry’s on the moral victory. But moral victories don’t get you to the “SHIP” This next leads us to the question of, “is My Plumber over rated? Or is Larry’s under ratted?” how will the pollsters view this and will it lead to a drop in the FFX rankings?

Rhinos vs. Larry’s (21- 0)
Two B League power house making the step up to the A League, this game had the makings of the “instant classic” both teams are familiar with each other. It was going to be a rematch of the IFFL Spring semi-finals. But with an earlier game under their belt (8:00) Larry’s did have the legs to compete with the Rhinos (Spring Champions 05). This one was a blow out. Leading into next weeks game, the Rhinos are riding on the momentum of a 21-0 shutout! Will “BIG MO” stay go? Are the Rhinos the new A league sleepers? Do the jump up in rank?

Sharks vs. Vienna Ballers. (28-7) ???
The scores for this game have not been posted. But from the rumor mill it was a blow out. The Shark, with a new look QB put up 28 points. They must be doing something right in the “SHARK TANK”!! are they ready for a 3rd championship? We will have to see if the new QB can handle the pressure. The Vienna Ballers are a new team to the league. From the reports, they are young with a real burner on the team (#2). Speed kills, but speed always needs direction! Will these young bucks get it together or are the a cup-cake on the schedule? That brings up the question, “ just how good are the shark?” does this game really mean anything to the pollsters?

Now we are onto the predictions for tonights game. From the trash that has been thrown around on the board, there seems to be some bad blood between Kerns and Lions. That is shaping up to be a “BIG GAME” for both the teams. We also have Lazy (BB CHAMP 05) tonight and we get a first look at the Coyotes as they take on the NOVAs. Here are my predictions on tonights games:

Kerns vs. Lazy (28-14)
Kerns will get their revenge for their loss to Lazy in the BB championship. The game will be close in the first half, but some breakdowns in the second half by Lazy will lead to Kerns taking the momentum. Scoring 2 unanswered TD in the second half.

Kerns vs. Lions (7-14)
The Lions are coming off a loss to Kerns in the BB. With all the trash talking during the week, this game could be a good one. Kerns will be playing their second game of the night. Will this become a factor in the game? The Lions have a power house defense that keeps them in games. But will they have the fire power to score a touchdown? Kerns has a potent offence with the most dangerous QB in the league (like Vick). This one will be “THE GAME OF THE WEEK” the winner of this game will probably jump in rankings to a possible the number 1 ranking.

NOVAS vs. Coyotes (21-7)
Not much is known of the Coyotes. Rumor has it, that they are the XO Gunners from Richmond. I doubt that they are driving down here for games (gas/ 3.10 a gallon/regular!!!) hahahah but really. No one knows who this team is so I am going to have to go with what I know. The NOVAS are a strong team and have quality players. Because of the lack of information on the Coyotes, I don’t have much to say on this game.

thank you for your time: come out and check out the games! We all live life 10 yards at a time!

i`d have to say that my plumber is over rated. i watched the game and they are a shell of what they used to be. i think they had an all new wr corps, which is not good in this league. they will struggle i believe. i wouldn`t call them finished or anything, but it looks like if anything it will take them time to gel. hell, they might as well be a new team to the league all together with what i saw out there monday night. they`ll prol finish like 4th or 5th behind kerns, sharks and lions for sure, and maybe behind lazy and rhinos if they aren`t careful!

oops
