 Are field goals returnable?
I looked at the rules and am either missing it or it`s not in there.
Tonight a field goal was attempted from around the 30 and was missed short, at which point the defense caught and attempted to return and the whistle was blown and game over?
It would not have affected a win or loss for us but I am curious in case it could in the future.

ARTICLE 1. AFTER MISSED FIELD GOAL ATTEMPT THE BALL GOES BACK TO THE PREVIOUS SPOT,IF ATTEMPT WAS OUTSIDE B`S 20 YARD LINE, INSIDE B`S 20 YARD LINE IT WILL BE A TOUCHBACK,NEXT PUT IN PLAY ON 20 YARD LINE.

No. Also, feel free to post all officiating and rules questions to the officials board - they can answer and discuss directly with you there.
