I normally do not comment on the division II league, but lets take a moment to look at how things have shaped up after 2 weeks there.

Right now S&S and MACDaddies look to be in the drivers seat in their divisions. S&S was in division III last year and has made the move up very nicely. I noticed they played a close game against Kerns and Lions in the Barkbowl so the success in division II is not completly surprising.

On the other hand MACDaddies had a miserable season in division I last year finishing dead last and has a disappointing spring season so no surprise to see them playing here but they are off to a great start.

Invequity,Spalding,Wolverines and Punishers are also undefeated after 2 weeks and any of those teams could move to the head of the pack by next week. Spalding and Wolverines are both veteren teams who get by more with experience than talent. S&S against Punishers should be a good game and should separate the contenders from the pretenders. In the other division you have MACDaddies and Invequity going head to head for the division lead.

Things should clear up a little more after the 4th week and I will be back to give you my analysis of who to expect in the championship game and who will take home the division II title this year.

S&S did in fact play Kerns tight in the Bark Bowl, losing 7-0. However, the game with the Lions was not close as they were blown out 21-0.

Let`s see what has changed in the past 3 weeks.

Either S&S or Helltown Rosebuds will win the division and the October 11 game between these 2 teams will determine who. Despite all the talk about S&S I think the Rosebuds are a pretty even match who are used to playing in high stakes games. In fact, I like the Rosebuds to win this division in a very close game, 17-14.

Looking across to the American division we have a similar situation the next night where the winner of Invequity and Spalding will take that division unless Spalding loses to the Titans next week in which case Invequity will have the regular season title sewn up. If we assume Spalding beats the Titans, I like Invequity in the next game. Always go with the teams that "find a way to win".

Now for the playoff matchups, I`ll take Invequity,S&S,Rosebuds and Spalding to make the final four then Rosebuds and S&S in a championship game rematch that Rosebuds wins in overtime.

That`s all from me on Division II this season.
