First, we will have stat takers out at all games. Its a league policy to wear numbered shirts, so you should wear the same number every week if you want accurate stats.

Stats will appear on the site.

We are paying the stat takers $15-$20 per game. Coaches voted to make this voluntary, so although there will be stats entered for ALL teams, only teams who opt-in will have their stats displayed after week 2.

Teams can opt-in by paying an extra fee ($7.50/game) to have their team stats appear.

At the 2 week mark or so there will be a payment page for teams to enable their team stats to continue to appear.

The stats which will be recorded are still being worked out.

Rules changes:

Teams now have one minute to kick the ball off after scoring (or missing) an extra point.

Failure to kick off in 60 seconds will result in a 10 yard penalty and game clock stoppage until the kick is made.

Grace period (until halftime) and rosters (players rostered do not have to play reg season to participate in playoffs) were voted to remain as is.

On-site text messaging (sending SMS through the website) will be brought up for the Spring 2010 season.

;	Hey Tom - speaking of text-messaging I know field cancellations are very minimal, but when they happen, there are always complaints about teams driving to the fields only to find out the games are canceled since the weather line wasn`t updated in time. Just a suggestion - another league that I play in uses a program that sends mass SMS texts to coaches and players for cancellations due to weather. Is there anyway IFFL can implement that for a more real time update? It might require a little work setting it up, but it might relieve your headaches when teams complain in the long run.
