How effective is the spread offense? Can any team pull it off?

TC pulls it off very well. they do keep 1 blocker in though.

The Wolves and the Hurricanes(weeknight league) have used the spread successfully. The Wolves rely on it heavily where the Hurricanes mix it in to change the pace of the game. Going man is about the best way to defend it.

I guess the spread does work. All 3 teams that won the championship uses it. TC and Diesel have similar formation using one crackback. TC uses a spread with a running back in the backfield for the quick swing pattern or seems while Diesel uses double QB action.

it works

if you have the pieces. you must have a qb that can move. there is also a way for a smart defense to give it problems if they know how. the teams that are best at stopping it are usually the teams that run it themselves and know its weaknesses.

you`re going to have a mismatch or open guy if teams rush 2 with a safety. thats what most teams use against it. So before the snap have your QB figure out who that guy is going to be and you`re good. If they play man look for the mismatch.
