;	I haven`t bet on my team`s games all year. I think there are rules against that. Anyway our game against the Magnums should be fun. There are players on each team that play together on other teams on Sundays. So they`ll be playing for bragging rights as well. And who wants to here their team mates mouth all summer long.

;	YTD 13-7 +1950 Magnums +10.5 - nickel - This line is a bit high, as I think the Magnums should be able to give TC a bit of trouble where others haven`t (getting to the QB and covering the center when he roams for passes). The Mags might even have a shot in this one if they can actually get their offense going, which is something they`ve had trouble with against good teams this year. Should be a great game either way. I lean to the Greyhounds in the early game but I still do not trust that team at all with how they have played against some of the weak teams in their division (Kryptonites, Titans, etc).

;	Bad Boyz show up tonight with the full cast of characters and completely embarass the Greyhounds. This one won`t even be close. Just look at the BadBoyz in the Sunday league. That`s the team that will show up. Greyhounds are a joke and are lucky to play in such a weak A League this eyar. 34 - 14 Bad Boyz. TC and Magnums will be a HUGE disappointment because TC will destroy the Magnums. Everyone is hoping for a big time matchup here but look at the facts, Magnums played in a weak division and did their best impression of an A team but couldn`t beat the only legit A team in that division - sharks. Despite their records, these two teams are on completely different levels. TC has proven themselves against top opponents in the state and have performed at a high level. Haven`t even played in one close game this year. Magnums have a good, not great, defense. Decent pass rush and suspect cover guys. Their offense is a joke and if they don`t hit the big play they typically don`t score. TC has too much experience to give up those silly busted play TDs. 28-7 TC wins this one.

;	Triple Crown has only played one team from the West this season, Novacaine, who they beat 23-6. Magnums destroyed Novacaine 28-0. Novacaine was also missing players against TC, but not against the Mags. The Mags have to strategize defensively. They are a great D, arguebly the best D in the league, but if they are ill-prepared to face the spread it won`t matter. Offensively, their QB needs to be smart because if he tries to just run around all game TC`s line will eat him up. But I def think the Mags can pull this off.

;	To defend TC spread- 1.) 1 man rush, has to be a great athlete. 2 man rush at the very most if you have outstanding LBs and DBs. 2.) Man up on their center. There going to throw to him whether he`s covered or not. Zone is the way to go but there needs to be a man on this guy at all times. 3.) QB`s got a gun! CBs and Safeties can`t give up the deep ball!

;	Thanks for that great insight. All they have to have is an amazing athlete who can beat 2 blockers and get to the QB to get his flag, man up their center and shut him down, which no team in the league has done all year, and don`t give up the deep ball! Great advice! I will say, though, #2 is valid. The key to the TC offense is the center. He`s the safety valve and he will kill you if you let him. What you should actually do is rush 2 guys and put one of them directly over top of him. He`s soft so he will make no attempt to block you and it will give you a more straight shot at the QB. If he comes up slow give him a shot before he gets into his route. He does not like contact and will avoid at all costs. As for the WRs, it`s tempting to let them have the 5-8 yard passes, but they will take those and move right down the field on you if you let them. You need to push up on the guy from the Banditos (#11, I think) and the little guy from the Wolves (#1, I think), as they will look to get the ball to them in the flat and get some YAC on you. He`ll set you up with these and then go up top on the seam route to the guy he used to play with on Diesel, which goes for a TD 9 times out of 10 against the unsuspecting safety. Bottom line is that they are tough to stop either way but you want him to have to go downfield to get his first downs as opposed to making the easy passes to pick you apart on a long drive. He`s a very good QB, but he will put balls up that you can pick off, you just need to capitalize on those opportunities.

Make sure to point out all the holes in our defense too. i also want to stress that i`m a huge baby when it comes to contact. just a quick little shove will put me on the turf. it`s amazing that no team has ever tried to jam me at the line. for serious though, i doubt either A game tonight will be a blowout. all four teams are solid and playing well, so both games should be battles.

I was just given this scouting report to defeat Raiden: "Use quick interrupts like low jabs to set up your offense...I notice Raiden players use high attacks to follow their teleport...if they do punish them by ducking and punishing their recovery time. Ducking works...if you can find a very quick powerful attack to counter a blocked teleport that would do great too. I like using Batmans B+3 sweep as a counter when I duck Scorpy`s teleport....works fairly well most of the time." I don`t know what any of these means but I guess we can try it tonight.

;	That horrendous attempt at breaking down the Triple Crown spread offense makes me want to puke! Leave the X`s and O`s up to me. Magnums report: Defensively, they play the short routes very well and are aggressive at jumping routes. This also opens them up to big plays if they miss on the short route because they are horrible flag pullers. They easily bite on the double moves and don`t really have the speed to cover the deep routes. On the defensive line they have quick rushers but you can usually shed them with a pump fake from the QB. Offensively, there really isn`t much to them. Their receivers have average speed but good hands. They rely on their QB to scramble around long enough for the receiver to shed the defensive back. The QB is quick but has the arm of jeff garcia. let him run around in the backfield all day because you WANT HIM TO THROW IT. They have good size on the offensive line but the QB makes them look better than they really are with his scrambling ability. The offensive line does best against bigger, slower pass rushers and they struggle big time against the quicker rushers.

;	Triple Crown: There`s really no weakness with this team. Offensively they run the spread offense which is tough to defend even for veteran teams (as evidenced by their great success since forming the team last year). They have a QB who has deadly accuracy and has enough speed to buy time. Their receivers run great routes and what kills defenses is that the QB throws the ball to a spot and expects the receiver to break and be at that spot when the ball arrives. As a defender this is impossible to defend if you`re watching the receiver since you will be unable to break on the short routes. Even harder with that many receivers running crossing routes. Most teams have 3-4 receivers they use and usually 2 of them are legit. TC uses 6 receivers and all of them would be #1 receivers on any other team in this league. Most defenses have one or 2 good cover guys but not enough to keep up with all 6 of these guys. Defensively, they have a solid 3 man pass rush and utilize their speed on the outside rush. It will be tough for the Magnums QB to see over LOCS up the middle. Their secondary has a lot of speed and they play very tight coverage. They aren`t afraid to jam the receivers at the line of scrimmage and with that pass rush its even tougher for the qb to dump the ball quickly.
