The big guns are out tonight and the first game of the evening could come down to the wire. Every night 2 out of 3 of my predictions are on the mark and 1 is way off the mark. Lets see which one is way off tonight.

CCR NOVAs/Sharks

A lot of folks including myself had written the Novas off and now that seems to have motivated them. This team is looking more and more confident and could be a major factor in the division come playoff time. The Sharks are coming off of a tie with My Plumber in a game that failed to produce a clear division leader. A few weeks ago I would have called this for the Sharks in a blowout. This will be a very close game between the 2-time defending champs and a resurgent Novas. I`m going to call this 17-14 Novas.

Rhinos/My Plumber

I called the Rhinos the no. 2 defense in the league last week and they responded by giving up 28 points. It now looks like the defense has gone in the tank along with the offense. Unless the Rhinos can turn it around quickly they are done this season. Tonights game against My Plumber is not exactly the ideal game to turn a season around on, and it won`t happen here. Look for a score similar to the 28-0 pounding last week as My Plumber breezes 20-something to 0.

Kerns/Rhinos

Kerns has lost 2 games by a missed extra point. Thats the difference between 3-2 and 5-0. Maybe they should play to win instead of playing not to lose? With all that talent the more conservative offense we are seeing is not the same Kerns. On the other side of the ball the Rhinos will be coming off another thrashing and might not even bother to put up much of a fight. This could be a good game for Kerns to get back there swagger. Kerns 21-7.
