;	FORCE SIGNALS QB TO THROW!!!! hes not good at it. rush 2 in the gaps, spy middle linebacker (use your fastest flag-puller....their QB is faster than he looks) no need to contain him when you use a spy. run a 4 across zone with one deep safety. corners give up the flats (they dont throw to them unless out of the backfield) cover deep corners. their success has mostly been 7 - 8 seconds into the play when coverage has broken down. HE WILL COMPLETE PASSES in this defense. but once per drive, he`ll serve one up to your corners

;	the `questionable calls" were made by either the tall,arrogant head ref (white, in his 50s or 60s); or the completely incompetent line judge (white, at least in his 70s)? Just a wild guess, I wasn`t there....for fairness` sake, I hope Tom gets another crew of officials for the Championship games at Braddock Park. Those guys are terrible compared to the the other officials in this league (and are confused on some of the rules as well).

;	The "questionable calls" went both ways. There was a pass interference call against Signal when the corner batted the ball out of the receivers hand as the ball got there and the ref said you can`t "slap" the ball. There were some no calls for (or against depending on perspective) both teams. All in all the refs did a great job and let the two teams play. Now when you say much closer are you saying Signal should have won by two or even one TD because a win is a win! That is like saying I would be a great golfer if it weren`t for all those extra shots I take.

;	i dont think you are allowed to slap/bat/punch/kick the ball out of the receivers hands. much like you are not allowed to strip the ball or dive for fumbles. this is flag league, not tackle football. I think the corner can only go for the ball or deflect the pass.. Once the ball is in the receivers hands, then you can not bat it away. Unless we get instant replay, the refs will not be able to make these type of calls accurately. its a judgement call and should be an unbiased call. I have no problems with it going either way. But when the ref favors a team over another, that is where we have problems.

When two or more players are making a simultaneous and bona fide attempt to reach, catch, or bat the pass. The rule specifies "contact" and uses "bat the pass" so you can bat pass and make contact while doing so. (The hand is part of the ball so you can`t "chop" their arms) You can`t go over their back nor can you slap or bat the ball while the ball carrier has control of the ball. This is an easy call to make since they have to be there at the same time which was the case last week. The call was slapping the ball which, if you go to the rule page you`ll see, is legal. Although this is flag there are several areas where contact is legal. Obviously blocking and "chucking" off the line of scrimmage but a simultaneous effort to catch the ball there can be contact. He didnt have control or possesion but he had it in his hand. If that was the case then the defender can not bat it down. And where dod you read "hand is part of the ball" you must be talking about basketball.. hahahahah

;	I don`t need to read it. The rule says you can make contact under the condition stated above. You are wrong! The receiver did not have posession the ball and or hand was hit as he was catching the ball (i.e. simultaneous) as the ball/hand was "batted" which is legal. The call, which was wrong, was batting the ball which you can do as stated above. I undersated that you agree the ball can be batted but a defender can hit your hand and or ball as he is breaking up the catch and can even make contact with your arms but cannot chop at them.
