There is a smorgasboard of games on tap tonight as Division I looks to wrap up most of the regular season. There are 3 more playoff positions up for grabs and the division title could be decided.

Sharks/Larrys

A Sharks win here wraps up the division crown. If the Sharks win tonight they would have to lose the final 2 games Monday to Kerns and Lazy by blowout margins and that ain`t going to happen. The Larrys are looking to clinch playoffs and they only need to win one of their 2 games tonight to do so. I said earlier that the Larrys would finish 5-4 and in 4th place and I am sticking to it but they won`t beat the Sharks. The Larrys thrive on mistakes made by the opponant and this one does not make too many. The Larrys have trouble playing against good defenses and this one is the best. Expect the Sharks to control this game from start to finish and hold the Larrys to a field goal. Final score will be Sharks 17, Larrys 3.

Larrys/Coyotes

After losing their first 5 games, the Yotes have won 2 straight by an average of 25 points! Those wins came against the last place and second to last place team but the margin of victory is impressive. If the Larrys are not careful they could become victim #3 but I think the Larrys are too smart to look past this game. I think its the Coyotes who might come out a little too confident. If the Coyotes try to force the pace of the game on the Larrys they`ll wind up on the wrong end of a blowout. If they take the time to put together good drives I think they can hang through most of the game. Look for the Larrys to take the lead, play smart, and sit on the ball. Larrys 21-7.

Lions/Coyotes

Here comes the Lions. After a very slow start the Lions have finally developed team chemistry without 2 of their star players. Look for the Lions to come out firing tonight. The Lions have one of the top defenses in Division I and while the Larrys should slow down the Coyotes, the Lions could bring them to a grinding halt but something tells me the Lions could get too preoccupied with scoring at the expense of allowing points. Don`t expect a single punt in this game and look for the Coyotes to post a score in each half. Lions 28-14.

Vienna Ballers/CCR NOVAs

Its hard to get a good read on the Ballers these days. They have the worst defense in the league yet they only gave up 10 points to My Plumber and stayed close in that game. Is this a sign they have turned the corner? Tonight they will be tested by a veteren NOVAS team that has a habit of identifying weakness and blowing out new teams. Add to this fact that the NOVAS need a win to clinch a playoff spot and this game should be a typical NOVAS thrashing of a new team. NOVAS 24-0.

Lazy Sundae/CCR NOVAs

Lazy has already clinched a plyoff spot and the NOVAS will have clinched by kickoff of this game plus both these teams should finish in the 4-7 seed range so there will not be playoff implications at stake. However these 2 teams are big rivals so while the game might be meaningless in the big picture neither one of these teams will want to lose this game. Look for a close game throughout and either a 21-21 tie or for the NOVAS to kick a game winning field goal and win 24-21.
